life and friendship I

My good friend is being shipped off to work for FEMA in efforts to restore parts of Louisiana. He Volunteered. This news saddened me yet I know it is an incredible deed.
He found out yesterday and is leaving the day of my birthday, Wednesday. Not too much time to prepare and say goodbye for what will be quite a while.
