lack of organization& working structure is the evil that seems to plague me .
they gave me a headache today! 8 hours of being in a meeting room with very little resolved!!!

The holiday feast, planned by a fellow co-worker along with myself, went ok.
Initially people were reluctant to participate. Morale is worst than buffalo. They just needed a little prodding (like sheep) I think. "This is the way to utopia" T-E-A-M!!! "RAH!!! YEAH!!!" Can we hire Anthony Robbins to speak? (there's a guy who seems like he made a pack with the devil but maybe I'd let him whip me into shape: Make your bed, wash those dishes, dust those shelves, hang up your clothes, make me a sammich!!!) i totally digress...
so anyway, participation works wonders for productivity sometimes.
Strangest thing is, after two weeks of planning, and frequent reminders to everyone, the leader still went out to get food on their own and really did not join in with us????? people felt slighted. We are a small group. what's 30 minutes to join in for representations sake? I tried to incorporate everyone's interest. I even bought "Happy Hanukkah" confetti! (sorry, I couldn't find any confetti for Kwanzaa)

this post is boring. i just needed to blow it out. do not pay this any attention.
time to sip the hot cocoa and relax / regroup / retire and let "Wheat" soothe my soul...

Behold.... The illustrious "Charlie Brown Tree deux" has been found! and for the low low $5.24.




Stay tuned (1 hour) to see if the Charlie Brown magic transcends my boob tube and enters my living room to uplift the branches (all 6 of them) of this poor and pitiful tree to turn it into the most beautiful tree in the world! or at least in my apt!!! just like on the show.

I am still without a tree. this turns my smile upside down. I took two trains and two buses to find a tree that ended up not existing.the ones that were left over were very undesirable. and this year, since I moved, I had to throw away my dead ficus that I strung up ala "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree" fashion last year (see pic)

Today is my sister's Birthday. It seems that as we get older, we seem to catch up and sometimes pass our elders. Who knew she would be the first to get married and have cutey pie babies? I think I am still in shock! Babies!!! Married!!! What??? Middle children always seem to surprise ya'!

I hope she had a happy day! I miss the babies!!! :(

did anybody else watch the love boat years ago?

well i finally made it to that place called "paycheck"
still playing it cool. it may be war soon. underhanded
sneakyness kind of war. my boss hasn't said
jack about when he will release me for my new
gig. I am a patient broad and an understanding one too!
but come on, don't walk around and avoid shit like the
plague. So i had to vent by 4:30pm. I call my friend back
in the blo...I stood outside in the cold for almost an hour
without a coat since I have buffalo winterized blood now -
just letting it all out... why do people have nasty attitudes?
why are people unhelpful? why are people self concerned only?
why do people suck? why do you have to do almost everything
yourself when you shouldn't? blah blah blah I finally had to get on the train
after being approached by the less desireables. "no I don't
want whats in that bag!"
so my friend does some digging and searching and informs me
that they could keep me from taking the promotion by deeming
me a "critical element" - I am a hostage!!!!
whatevah!!! I will continue to remain patient by
another day or two and then its on...

So I had to treat myself - no more leftovers; Sushi and Red Wine for the Queen.


I like when people are upfront and honest. I give you the same respect
so I feel that I deserve no less than the same.

these same feelings
transfer to relationships and such. All this talk about good guys and bad boys...
I have seen them all. I have done my share of heart break but probably not
as much as the opposite has tried to fling my way. The worst is "Bad Boy" in
good guys clothing. Boy, I must say I fell for that one. ((Even though I detect the bad boy charm, its just that "charm"))

I get stung by a great smile, wit and blimp size ego almost instaneously
((oh no, i have given away the achilles heel))
However often before, No more now. I am on hiatus!

uh...missed the bus again. all week I was on the mark.
doesn't it count if I was dreaming of work?

I have nothing else to say other than I am tired. what else is new
