I laughed somewhat scornfully and walked away.
In a seven-person class, this is rather uncomfortable. Ooops.
Seriously, dude. You don't want to hear about tax policy because as you said, "I want to be rich someday, so I don't think the rich should pay more taxes." I just love "i got mine, screw you" arguments, even aspirational ones.

Once you go down that route, where do you draw the line. Especially in aN institution with people from more diverse backgrounds. As the Indian and Asian population of UB grows are they going to accomdate those ethnic and religious groups too? My opinion is that they should simply drop all religious holiday observation and stick with the state holidays.
