all-terrain poodle

Nisha is such a cool dog. She crossed this creek on a fallen log by herself (i slipped the first time across). I used the gaia map app and it worked well. I'll post the track next.

database job?

I took on a database job that I'm stuck on and would like to farm out the rest of it.

Platform: OpenOffice Base
Customer contact: none
Paid: yes
Estimated completion time: 3-5 hours (I've got the tables set up and some of the forms. I have to finish writing out the rest of it so I can hand it over.)
Difficulty level: 2/5.

I'm just stuck on the scripting. I used to be a pro scripter but it's been five years :-p I went back and looked at my last big Access project and was stunned at the complexity and depth of the app. I guess I build other stuff nowadays - skatepark? better borough governance?

Anyone interested?

Clean windows = more rainbows

I really like my big east-facing windows because I can hang prisms... I took them down from my allen street windows because they rattled every time a bus or beer truck drove by. Happy rainbows!

Hot Dog Eating Contest

BLOSSBURG V.I.B.E TO HOST HOT DOG EATING CONTEST

Blossburg, PA, Sept. 24 - Blossburg V.I.B.E. will host a hot dog eating contest at the Blossburg Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 17. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. with the contest starting at 1:30 p.m. at Riverside Plaza. A $5 registration fee includes a t-shirt and all the hot dogs a contestant can eat in five minutes.

The winner will receive an award belt, the honor of being Blossburg's Top Dog, and a chance to defend the title at the contest next year.

Bloss Holiday Market is donating hot dogs and buns. Shane Nickerson will provide bite-by-bite commentary for the audience. The competition is open to anyone age 16 or over.

Sponsored by Blossburg V.I.B.E., the Fall Festival will be held from noon to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, at Riverside Plaza. The festival includes Keith Lindie's special hay ride sponsored by William B. Wilson American Legion Post 572, food and craft vendors, local organizations, music, pumpkin painting, raffles, and more family fun.
