I'm still not sure how I feel about Ulysses' Crewmen. It was very intense, and brutal, a raging critique of postmodern capitalism and the impossibility/futility of escape. Powerful acting. Causes discomfort. Playing tonight, 6:00 @ Sugar City and tomorrow at Broadway Market.

You Know This Girl: You gotta see it. Seriously excellent & funny one-woman show. Tonight, 7:30 @ Sugar City. You get merch for your $10 voluntary donation. She's goin' places.

his is a picture of the awesome entree dave@ lagniappes made for me last night. i ordered "something spicy& vegetarian" as usual :-)

(why do different android apps have different keyboard layouts? i love the long-press-home. i've tried to publish this entry five times and haven't gotten the thank you. :-p no error msg. )

now i've added a glowy-eyed nisha pic to match the china as basement kitteh pic. and pics=0 again! even wih pix =0, the darn thing won't publish.

I just pasted this here for a holding spot so i can start o er with the app.

nisha

nisha is watching uncle dudley's boyfriend through the kitchen door, occasionally woofing at him. she has trained him to feed her treats when he comes home in the evening. he claims to not like dogs.

(obligatory bug mention: i openwd the estrip app, took the pic of nisha, wrote the entry and now pics=0. reattaching now. both the orig size and stripped versions are in the gallery (separate issue with the motorola phone) how come the text doesn't wrap in the horizontal keyboard screen?)

car stories

i participated in the infringement theatre piece "car stories" this afternoon. some pix:

also enjoyed lemonade at a kid's lemonade standin the middle of car stories. he wanted us to sign a paper if we liked the lemonade with a buzzy shock pen.

annie's house

annie's husband cut down 140 logs to build their log cabin. it's gorgeous with views of hills and a valley and family horses. i love the stuffed deer staring up at the ceiling. i have to remember to take vertical shots lile (e:matthew)!
