The people here are sooo selfish, and back stabbing,and whores. Even people who you think are your friends turn their backs on you in a split second. It's not all bad, I mean I still have my few friends here who seem to be genuine. It's a lot different. i need a vacation can't wait to be away. People here also have no shame in saying things to you while you're walking down the street.Last night for example I was stopped by two guys trying to 'holla" and get me to talk to them uh no thank you. a few days ago while I was walking in the park there was a girl who did the whole 'psst' thing to me. I didn't know that was still in style. Girls have been more forward to me actually saying things like "yeah bitch get it, get it", "hey baby come over here....where you goin?". No exaggeration. Never, ever, ever have i had my nationality questioned more than when i moved to NY. Atleast once a week someone would ask if Im Indian, and not native american indian, which i am partially. Bodega store clerks, the police, my co-workers and people who i thought were my friends tend to think I am from the middle east and there is no convincing them otherwise. I guess it's not that bad but I just thought I looked black and black. I walked off Dave and Busters and will no longer work there. Fuck that juob!!!
