Littering

On the walk back home, I was at Elmwood and Ferry when some asshole at the light threw his trash out the window. I'm normally not an angry person but littering drives me freaking crazy.

I ended up yelling at him, and going to pick up the trash. I also went a little psycho but I probably shouldn't post about what I did. I ended up getting stuck with the trash but he drove away with a spit covered windshield.

Its hard to stop but I should really watch it before I confront the wrong person.

Programming and bitterness

Tonight I was on a roll, so after I worked out I headed over to Spot to program. I've been looking at (e:Paul)'s cycles project and its helped me a lot in working on (e:terry)'s form making project, especially in terms of setting up things the right way with MVC and how I want to handle user input. When he was writing it I didn't always understand the code, but now I can sit down and step through it line by line it's a lot clearer.

Anyway I actually got coffee at spot. Lately I've liked the taste of coffee. I used to hate all bitter things like dry wines, hoppy beers and dark chocolate but for some reason in the past year or two it has been different. I guess I've either adjusted to them as I've had it more or my tastes have changed? Definitely had more of all these things with Paul and Terry. The sweet tooth has not gone away though.

Agave is now open where Blue Fin was. I really want to try it especially since its supposed to have a different menu than Don Tequila.

Family dinner

After making some chili last night, (e:terry) and I went to my parents' for a roast beef and candy dinner. Terry and I took Midnight on a freezing walk.

My mom made other things like potatoes au gratin and this tabbouleh style quinoa which I loved. They have so much candy that I had a relapse. Didn't stop me from having two slices of cake though.

My parents and Mid are pretty crazy about Terry and Paul so it was a good night.
After dinner we ended up going through old pictures and watching the Olympics closing ceremony where a giant robot bear started crying. Not sure what that was about. We also gave my mom, brother and dog makeovers with the makeup app. I hope P&T don't leave me for my any of them now.

Brunch at Left Bank

To recover from last nights craziness (e:terry) and I went for brunch at the Left Bank with (e:Robert) and Mickey. I got this giant cheddar and asparagus omlette, and Terry got the bruschetta with eggs.

We gave Robert and Mickey makeovers with the Makeup app. They totally could be models with makeup like that.

On the way home we saw somebody had lost their wig on a car. Must have been a good night.

Dreamland and the beach party

Last night (e:flacidness) and Gerald came over before we went to the Dreamland art coop party. After a little bit of street fighter we headed out to the party on Franklin. The building was renovated really nicely. We ran into (e:robert), Jax, Kevin, Pierce and a bunch of other people. Pierce was there taking amazing pictures.

We ended up going to a beach party on Breckenridge after with Pierce, his boyfriend and Mickey. The house was packed, they had a band playing and everything. We didn't have beach wear so Terry and I just got into our underwear. Good thing we wore the fancy ones lol. The dancing sort of devolved into a mosh pit, it was so redonk fun.

We danced until about three before Terry and I headed home, stopping at Lloyd's of course

Mattress adventure

Yesterday (e:terry) and I helped out (e:Robert) and drove out to North Tonawanda to do mattress shopping. We went to American Freight on the Boulevard. Robert found them online advertising crazy cheap mattresses, like $30. We drive out there and its this old pepsi warehouse, completely chaotic. There were so many people and salesmen swarming everywhere, hawking all this discount furniture and these giant stacks of mattresses. Seems like a huge fire hazard. The customers there were very North Tonawanda trash.

Robert got a new bed set and the employee managed to strap it on to the car.

On the way back we stopped at Trader Joes and Chipotle, hoping we could get a quesaritto (buritto made with a cheese quesadilla) but it was real busy. I was absolutely stuffed.

Bis Bald

After two hours of sleep, (e:paul), (e:yesthatcasey) and I got up at 6 so I could take them to the airport. it was real chaotic and we were cutting it close on time. I dropped them off at the terminal about 7:15 for an 8am flight. I just got back. I haven't had to be up this early in a long time.

One week seems so long. Ich vermisse Paolo schon!

Hope its super bromantic! Wish we could escape the cold too.

Gabriel's Gate and Madonnas

last night (e:paul) and I went out with Carrie and Emily to Gabriel's Gate. We originally were going to try Don Tequila or Cantina but they had hours long waits, crazy. I got the North Street sandwich which was a portobello and Paul got the Linwood.

After dinner we met up with Lindsay and her sister at Madonnas. We ended up going on Tinder and seeing who we knew. Its pretty much a dating app based entirely on Facebook pictures.

(e:terry) was at DBGBs for the Breadhive thing. He went a little crazy because when he got back, he headed straight for under the table.

Getting out of the house

Yesterday morning I received really disappointing news about an opportunity I was hoping for. It really sucked and I was upset about it for a bit, but I realized the only option is to keep working for when the next opportunity comes up.

After I got home I went to Spot to work on the form building site. I thought it would be hard to work since it's always so loud but I actually got more done than I usually do in a 24. Being in complete silence makes me sleep or go crazy, especially now that (e:paul) and (e:terry) are working close to 12 hours every day. I ended up seeing Catherine there and hung out with her for a bit. I also found out I won $10 to White Rabbit on facebook, so if anyone wants to get poisoned (e:joe,58422)

There's a new hookah lounge coming in the old Ambrosia space. I'm pretty blah on hookah but hopefully there will be good food.

The next month of cheese came in - one has 75% butterfat. Redonk.
image
To keep up Paul and my crazy bougie dessert binge I stopped at Wasabi to get some mochi. They had four flavors and all sounded freaking amazing. I had to get one of each.
image

When I got back I watched some Teen Wolf with Terry before Paul came back around 1.

How far would you go?

How far would you go, to save your news station?
I was reading an article on WIVB's website and this huge ad for a special on WGRZ came up/
It seems so crazy that Channel 4 can't or doesn't manage their ads to prevent something like that showing up. I guess Channel 2 must be targeting pages about spice?
