A raggedy new year
I will make no pretensions about 2026 being a good year
but we can hope, right?

We’re a few months into the “new” year already, and I was thinking it has been a little better than last year. Or maybe I’ve adjusted to the craziness. Then, yesterday, I was beside myself all day, wondering how our government could promise to commit genocide in the Middle East at 8:00 that night, and everyone was just walking around like everything is normal. I’m counting on the backlash from that stunt to make people wake up and do something about it. That’s my hope for the rest of this year anyway.Permalink: A_raggedy_new_year.html

Last day at the AMC Market Arcade
We say the ping pong movie Marty Supreme at the second last day of the downtown AMC. I bought tickets for the Amherst theater accidentally but they let us in anyway. Hopefully it reopens as another chain, it is nice having a theater in walking distance.
