To the ol' swimmin' hole

Back to the quarry, this time a large poutine and cheesesticks.

The water is warmer than ever. When the sun came out from the clouds, you could see 15 feet down. Maybe that's enough to see the otter known as (e:terry).

I still have not seen this alleged pirate ship..

Along the friendship trail we passed re-enactors at the fort. They were intensely reenacting the siege of Fort Erie.

Did you know we could have had the Canadian side? Maybe it's good, it'd probably be Lancaster right now.

(e:paul) wants to do the re-enactment the next year, preferably as a stable boy.

Getting old again

All the pictures I got of my party but I lurve you all. Now that I'm a quarter century old.

Even my sibs Mary and Daniel stopped by. And my mom, who brought a cookie cake. May have been a bit crunk by that time.

Blame the girl who pushes tequila.

I met a girl Lauren who has my exact job at Nussbaumer, 3 years after I started there.

Getting redonkulous in the backyard. Little documentation but I managed to avoid any birthday spanks.

Infringement puppet show

I didn't really infringe much besides (e:joe,60612) the shadow penii I contributed to (e:czarkasm). I was sad I missed (e:terry)'s taxbot though.

The infringement puppet show at Colonial Circle was cool. The lady who ran it made intricate puppets of a mouse, a buffalo, a frog etc, and the performance was well done.

Later we saw the fire jugglers at Days Park. There was an off-leash ferret leash who acted just like a dog. You could even snap and he'd come to you. So freaking cute.

Ride to the outer harbor

(e:paul) and I were supposed to go down to the jump off to swim with the Wednesday night ride. But the ride missed us, so instead we sat on the rocks and drank beers while the sun went down.

Have you ever seen the Cotter spray it's hoses? I haven't. Almost got those kayakers in the face.

Churros, part of a balanced breakfast

The breakfast of champions. While (e:paul) and (e:hodown) were driving to the mall, (e:terry) and I were having homemade churros topped with homemade ice cream at

Las Puertas. It was just a test run but it was delicious.

I think his his Mexican hot chocolate ice cream, while mine was cherry goat cheese ice cream.

Swim at the quarry

Purple martins peekin' their little heads out.

It was blazing hot and we rode to the quarry. The water was lower than ever and almost bathwarm to swim in! We got poutine and cheesesticks. You need to balance the ride out.
