Shopping Sunday

On Sunday (e:paul), (e:terry) and I went shoppinng pretty much everywhere. We went to Feel Rite, Pet Supplies Plus, my parents house, Trader Joe's, the Indian and Chinese groceries on Sheridan and then Anderson's with my family for 96 cent cones. I got the Greek yogurt custard. It reminded me of the sweet cream ice cream I got for Paul's cake last month.
I was also so suprised Terry didn't die because he hates grocery shopping and his knee still hurt.

When we got back home Paul made the giant artichokes, Terry made an amazing barley vegetable soup and I made Turkish Rice Pudding. I was food babying so hard.

Deutsch Omegle

In addition to the Flappy Birds fiasco, I've been stuck in 2009 and chatting on Omegle to practice German. (e:Paul) and I spent probably 7 hours this weekend looking for Deutschers to chat with. It's really good practice because Duolingo doesn't really have much of a verbal component.

We spent 3 hours talking to these drunk Turkish girls. Apparently I've aged poorly because they thought Paul was 25 and I was 30. We exchanged Whatsapp and snapchats and now we have to make a Turkish baked rice pudding called f?r?n sütlaç.

image

We also talked with a weird Russian boy who apparently was recording his sister having sex. He thought Paul was 24 and I was 26. Yeah I thought we were going to get arrested for that one.

Last person we talked to was to some Austrian kid. He was super impressed with Paul's German, especially when he pronounced these two redonk German words.

Priest Fingers

So yesterday (e:Paul) put a seaweed snack in my mouth and pretended it was a communion host.

Somehow we brought up priests placing communion in your mouth and I said I remember when I was little being grossed out when their fingers touched your mouth. Apparently this didn't happen to Paul or (e:mike) so either I had creepy priests or I was a creepy child who sucked on the priests fingers. I remember always preferring to take it my hands to avoid it. Did this just happen to me? Can I get a settlement out of this or something?

Soul Night at Milkie's

On Friday, (e:paul) and I went out with (e:robert), Mickey, (e:xandra), (e:flacidness) to Milkies for soul night and Rita's birthday. Poor terry was still broken.

I thought it was going to be lame because the music really isn't my thing but it was weirdly alright to dance to. Pretty sure my mom would have loved the music they played.

I wish my phone had more battery so I could have taken pictures of the ridiculous videos they played. or all the beards and mustaches there. I thin there were about 2 straight guys in the whole place.

After it ended at 3, Paul and I headed home to bed while everyone else went to Faherty's

Flappy Birds

Fuck Flappy birds. If you don't know what that is, don't look it up. All you need to know is Paul got 10 points after two hours where friends were ignored and (e:yesthatcasey) and (e:terry) were driven insane by little beeps of birds dying. The creator is taking it down as of tonight so the world is now spared.

Dianne's Birthday

On Monday everyone came over for dinner for Dianne's birthday. The food situation was seriously crazy but it ended up working out alright. Tanya made an amazing pesto sauce pasta while Paul made steaks for the cow eaters. I'm sure they were good but I only could guess from a steak fat kiss.

Alex made the caramel cupcakes which made me food baby.

Dianne got some pretty good presents I must say.

Just say no

I managed to do it. They have cookie dough and rice crispy flavors as limited edition oreos.

These Oreos sounded so good, especially after the amazing birthday cake edition they had last year. I know I'd end up eating the whole pack though.

Robert's BDay and Ladies of Amsterdam

After (e:Robert) and Mickey came over for Robert's birthday, we ended up watching some movies and having amazing Wegmans brownies with ice cream and whipped cream, plus chocolate sauce. I didn't manage to get any pictures! HBD!

We also watched this movie called "The Ladies of Amsterdam". it was about these two old twin women in Amsterdam who were prostitutes in the red light district. It was crazy, they actually recently officially retired at 70 but one still had about 10 clients a day near the end. They were kind of pioneers in that they were some of the first to break away from pimps, and set up sex worker unions. Not sure if they were ever lookers but I have to give them props for sticking to it.

Can't say I ever want to be with a creampuffy grandma while she sings "Wheels on the bus" though.

Broken Terry and the bougie clinic

So (e:terry) hurt his knee at the roller rink the other night. Today we went to Immediate Care on Delaware Avenue. Its so ridiculous, it has a waterfall, expensive k-cups and all these TVs. No wonder its expensive to go there. They even have a loyalty club card that my parents have.

Fortunately we didn't have to Seabiscuit Terry and he just has to wear a brace and crutches for a week. Poor guy, he can't even straighten it :(

After we headed to Saigon Bankok for lunch.
