Median home price (2006): $93,413
Kenmore joins the aforementioned Tonawanda to form a region the locals call Ken-Ton. The Buffalo suburb offers low-cost housing in low-crime neighborhoods. Decent single-family homes start around $70,000 there with many in the $150,000 range. More exclusive areas, like Deerfield Park, will cost you close to $300,000.

Yeah, it snows all year over there in Ken-Ton I hear. Thank the lord I live on Elmwood!
James, it is just that the median income in Buffalo is so much lower.
It seemed like every other suburb of Buffalo was on that list but Buffalo itself wasn't. Are we really that much more expensive? 
Depew and Cheektowaga are on the second page... along with Corning and Lancaster.
