Warning: Cute Overload
I'm obsessed with the bunnies and the squirrel.
Speaking of bunnies I have a bunch of scientist friends who are insanely smart. Like PhD from Cambridge smart. Its rare that I actually know something they don't. So last Friday we were hanging out drinking whiskey and smoking the chebo and of course we were talking about living space and neighborhoods (it's a constant topic- you always want to know if someone has the inside scoop on a sweet new apt/hood). Anyways my friend Danelle started talking about how her friends have 5 bunnies in this small studio apt. And everyone loves bunnies and starts being all "oh I want a bunny". Then Danelle moved on to cats. Now it's all cats and bunnies. Then Danelle is like wait you can't have cats and bunnies because bunnies would eat cats. Hmmm. For a second no one said anything. And as messed up as I was I was pretty sure that a bunny would never eat a cat. But hey these are the science crew, maybe they know something I don't. The all the sudden everyone blurted out at the same time- wait i don't think that can happen. She stuck by her theory. We all question if she has actually ever seen a bunny.
PS- I took a sleeping pill last night, when I woke up this morning I was really groggy. And I noticed my hair is super gross today. I then started thinking about what shampoo I used. I have a large variety. Then I remembered. I didn't use any shampoo, only conditioner. I washed my hair with conditioner today. Can you say bad hair day?

Backstage Passes
Part #2 of why it rocked- we met this stylist there who also happened to be from the b'lo (yes it was like a Kenmore family reunion). This girl had a real Chanel bag as her gym bag. I wanted to rip it from her hands every time i saw it, only due to large amounts of corona in a can was I able to resist. Now that I have the Prada shoes my next goal is the Chanel tote as a gym bag.
On other news fronts the count down to St. Pattys day begins. I land in Buff at 5:35pm. I am hoping to be in a bar and drunk by no later than 6:30pm- that's assuming I'm not already drunk when I board the plane.

My place in history
Oh Paul sometimes you are the best friend a girl could have.
On another note: The band She Wants Revenge rocks the party. The song Tear You Apart is my fave song of the day. It's hot.

Because we all know it'll happen one day
God damn- why don't I ever take my ideas and just run with them. I so could have written a Robot Attack survival guide.
And for the cool kids:
Be there or be square. Really who doesn't love a slightly slutty lead singer who flaunts the fact that new york girls will kick your ass city style. I'm jealous I can't go. Lilho will be there to represent for the Ho's. And I can say with 100% certainty she does the slightly slutty genre great justice.
And for some more news on the music front:
Bishop Allen has just released their new EP "January" as part of their year long EP release experiment. Get it now kids as it is a limited edition.
And if you haven't already jumped on the Arctic Monkeys band wagon I highly suggest you do. For a select few I'm willing to burn you an advance copy (imported straight from the streets of London).

Little something for the end of the day
So the other day me and (e:paulie) were having a little chat and as always we ended up on a random topic: When people tell you their "sexy/provocative" stories thinking it's hot that they are telling you, yet really they are kind of gross. So then you have this horrific image in your head. Shivers.
On another note I have all these rocking new scientific friends. I totally dig the science nerds. Who knew all this time I just needed a little science in my life to perk me up.
And finally:
Last year I was home for valentine's day and as I was sitting on the Drexel ((E:pmt)'s couch) Paulie saddles up next to me and asks me to be his valentine. It was adorable. This year I don't believe that will happen :( I suppose I'll have to go with choice number two and take the (E:lilho) as my valentine. Looking on the bright side of that at least my valentine is funny and has stylo that could kick anyone's ass hands down...

I'm an asshole
Secondly- I agree 100% w (e:lilho). I too am sick of all this feeling crapness mixed with the mundane details of peoples days. I miss the old school days of (e:jason) and the debates, combined with randomness and stories about scandal and booty calls. Really let's take the emo over to myspace where all the crapness belongs. If your post involves: sex/booty calls w details- I say post. If your post invloves: love lost feelings, why am I here feelings or minute by minute play back of your day (and your day is not interesting) then take it to myspace. Really I don't think (e:strip) should be all about everyone being BFF, that sucks. I say bring the fiest back to estrip. (e:lilho) and I are starting the movement.

Celeb Sightings and Such
Also I am now the official owner of my first pair of Prada shoes. Since I was little I used to tell (e:paul) my dream was to own a insanely expensive pair of Italian made shoes. They are actually from a thrift store, so I paid less than $100 for them too. I have reached my goals before I turned 30. Awesome. Speaking of thrift stores. I am the thrift store queen. I found a Nanette Lapore silk shirt at the Goodwill too for $5. Now that's a bargin. The same place I got the Prada's from also has a pair of Hogan Wedges for $35 size 9- a little big, but for the sake of fashion why not?
Now if I could only get my act together and clean my apartment my life would be fab...

My new mattress
The to top it off I have some kick ass memory foam pillows and 400 TC Egyptian Cotton Sheets. The new down comforter arrives today. I have always dreamed of the most ultra comfortable bed ever. I think I am getting close to that goal. I'm going to Ikea this weekend to take a look at some new bed frame options. Ultra comfort and wonderfulness here I come!
For those guests who are used to me giving up my bed when you come to visit- I'm going to have to say f-off. I'm never giving up my bed for the couch again. Sorry bitches, the bed is just too wonderful now...

Bunnies eating kitties??!?! What an interesting idea. Most cats can take a moderate sized dog, so i don't know how they would succumb to a bunny!
I once had a bunny and a cat. Oscar the wild rabbit (he was rescued, cage included) and CatDiamond. They got along really well. Diamond loved him. They would run around and play. I would get home from work and Diamond would be meowing at his cage for me to let him out. When he died, she wouldn't get out of his cage for a 2 days. She just sat in there, not moving, not willing to drink or eat, even if i put something in his cage for her. After 2 days, she sniffed around and got out. I guess that is the usual mourning period for cats and bunnies...
