October Stuff

Ok, first things:

Sorry that the Buffalo crew is suffering through weird/freak/global worming snow storm. That is crazy. It was soo beautiful when I was there like 5 days ago.
I have had a BLAST this week in Atlanta!

Bahamian Breeze lunches with Aunties, Niece, Sister, Nephews, Counsin

Baby sitting babies and being exhausted from last weekend : D
Surprise visits from B-Friends ; D
Twist/Shout Cosmos=spend the night in a Days Inn Downtown Atlanta - egadst but oh so much fun!!!
SUPER Surprise "Tres' Chic" Birthday Party from my wonderful family!!!

& Special Ribbon & Polka Dots Cake-yea!

No snow here in the beautiful south - South Karo-lina!!!
It's family weekend @ Furman University. Gonna watch my cousin cheer-yay!!!

The Face of Elmwood

I took a lovely stroll through my old neighborhood of Elmwood Strip now referred to as "Elmwood Village". The weather was wonderful, the sunshine was brilliant and my spirits were on high.
Several things along my stroll struck me as odd.
Many of the long familiar shops were gone. Outta there.
One of the shops required advanced screening prior to patrons entering their establishment. Yes, I had to be buzzed into a WNY semi haute couture-trendy shop. What the hell?
I spoke with another shop owner who was informing her customers...

Chammycakes had to take a stroll down the street before some place close

comings or goings?

For the last two years during this particular season, I am drawn to some sort of impasse'.
I cannot decide whether to stay or go?
I am not ready to move to Atlanta with the rest of my family.
Yeah, I no longer have blood family in Buffalo : (
Just my family of friends : ) !
I am pressed on a weekly basis by my family in Atlanta to relocate there.
I can't seem to give them a good enough reason as to why not.
I don't really want to operate on "I didn't have a good enough reason not too, so I jumped".
Truthfully, there isn't much anchoring me to the floor of the Potomac.
It's just what I do.

is it weird to have gone the entire day @ work without a bra and not truly realize it until 9:07pm ?
