Letterboxing
I am completely amazed, it IS the coolest thing I have EVER heard of in my whole life without a doubt. Maybe I am just behind the "behind the Times" as I usually am-hahaha!
I read about it in Time this week. It is hide and seek Pirate style across the nation (okay so minus the whole golden treasure thing). It started in England 150 years ago. People bury something like paper and a rubber stamp. You look on a website like letterboxing.org to get clues to find these boxes. Then you can rubber stamp the book and leave words of wisdom to other people that find it and whatnot.
Damnit that is the coolest thing EVER!

UUG
What is one to do when your type doesn't like you? I suppose its not that big deal for me. It makes me sad, but I know it will make me a more flexible easy going person in the end. So I will hang in there. I suppose its just cause I am not at the settling age yet, but never having a real relationship doesn't sound that bad as long as I am not the only friend left without someone. I guess after all my friends pair off I will just have to be okay with the tricycle designed group. Yes I think that is something I will pry have to come to terms with eventually and that will be okay too!

Word A Day Calendar
I did not realize there was another word-osculate-that meant kiss. Did anyone else? This came from my word a day calendar which I dearly love, although I always forget the words and what they mean after I tear off the day.
Today I worked dairy and it was so much fun! Although a kid got ?fired/suspended? in the middle of my shift, but luckily a few nice people from Nature's Market helped me out-yeah!

Catch Up
I was reading Psych Today (August 2004) and it was an excellent issue. First of all my favorite social psych teacher was quoted in it. Second there was an article i HIGHLY recommend reading something like "Get over yourself" So good!! One thing was really funny. People were rating themself of who they thought would go to heaven. 79% thought Mother Theresa (oh god I really hope I spelled that right?) would go to heaven, and something like 87% thought themselves would go to heaven. So more people thought they would go to heaven over Mother Theresa. Now, I don't know how the questions were worded, but it just sounds really funny doesn't it?
Dave/Mr. MD of clean pools (hahaha)I can't say how much I laughed at your journal entry!! Priceless :-) Let me know when you are going to join the epeeps next outing and I will bring that special piece of jewelry I was telling you about ;-)

Interesting Person?
A)I never pay attention to what is going on around me
B)I never know what is going on in the world
---can someone just tell me daily what is going on in the news so i don't have to go searching for it? Its all just too much effort.
C) I am not very smart, and at this point its too much effort to catch up on what everyone else knows so I think i should just give up now
---but i am not going to, but I need to actually start doing stuff like learning spanish, the countries of the world, reading my magazines, studying for the GRE's (which i am nervous about now that Maureen is already studying for them)
D) Am I EVER going to get better at the guitar? Gosh i actually need to start practicing.
Its just a matter of finding time and daily inspiration to do all of this. Any suggestions?
