Never Speak of it Again.

Please for the love of God, never say:

What's the happs?

When you should say:

What's happening?

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

Currently if you search for "What's the happs?" on (GOOGLE - "What's the happs"), you only get 400 pages. 100 of which are on MySpace. I'm betting it will be in the millions in six months.

If I catch anyone around here saying it, you will be first against the wall.

LATE UPDATE:

Seriously, and just to reinforce: of the pages that contain this phrase, 9000 pages spell what's as whats, and only 400 spell it as what's. Don't make me hurt you. I'm itching... it seems suddenly there aren't enough dead trendy people in the world.

EVEN LATER UPDATE:

I blame Rupert Murdoch of News Corp. Think about it. That man owns the two worst cesspools on the planet: Bill O'Reilly and MySpace. I would say it's hurting the children, but to be honest I don't care about children. It is hurting me, though. That I'm sure of, and I'm offering up the proof on this very page.

What kind of world am I living in that I am forced to deal with this? I think this proves that I'm not solipsistic, because were that the case I would make these facts flee from my mind in terror, instead of the reverse.

(Paul has informed me that I am exempt from the site Terms of Services and can threaten any and all with death. FYI.)

LATE UPDATE #3

This is my enforcer.

This is the man who will show up at your door if you displease me. His name is Mike... and sure, he looks friendly, but it's a clever ruse. He knows karate and is not afraid to use it, so mind your 'what's' and 'happenings'.

Toodles is in Love

image

Read all about it.

Go get her!

Toodles was my mom's bunny. My dad gave him to the animal sanctuary where my dad works so that the bunny would have more company.

Nice to see he's getting along OK :)

Eat them both and you'll be glad!

Super-Duper-DVR

I'm in the middle of setting up my new work toy. A digital video recorder that can handle 6 to 8 channels of recorded video at a time, in one box. And I'm setting up a matching terabyte-plus raid storage box.

Very, very much fun.

It's super ironic too... I don't even have TV at home, but at work I watch it or deal with nothing but television all day. Sometimes I tell people that I haven't watched TV in a year, and then I have to remember that I spent 6 hours watching it at work that very day. It's very bizarre.

Four More Years

Does anyone else think that our new mayor will get anything more accomplished than Masiello did?

Not me. I still don't know what Byron Brown is about, and that's after much scrutiny these last 6 months. He can't really claim to be inspiring or have vision. He's been dulled in the NYS Senate. As far as I can see he's just part of the Democratic machine.

I'd meant to volunteer for Kevin Gaughn. I thought he was great. But I was working two jobs and just never made the time. So, it is my fault we don't have a better Mayor! If only I'd tried harder. OK, well, it's hard to put a dent in that kind of majority. What was it? Brown 66% and Gaughn 33%? In the general I ended up voting Republican.

Another one bites the dust!

Kuni's is gone, and Lé Metro is for sale, so it too will be gone or changed.

There might be a new sushi place opening up though, just a block or two away. So that's at least something.
