Few Things to say....

1) Craig Kilborn is not funny......he's just not.
2) To thesimeon, I have seen some of PBS' reality show......I enjoyed it....they also did a series where several families had to live as American pioneers......also very enjoyable (but than again I am an avid reality tv watcher)...so I may be biased...
3) Speaking of reality tv, shout out to Yoanna, winner of America's Next Top Model (which, I know I should be embarassed about watching every week...but, I have very little shame...)
4) To Zack, Griffis Park sounds cool (the pictures are beautiful)...but I think I need some place more people-focused....I thought of McDonalds or some seedy bar....but I'm still deciding, if you have any more suggestions I'd appreciate it!
5) I love tea...mmmmmm-mmmm-yum-yum..
6) I should not have cut bangs for myself....I've once again created a monster...now all I want to do is chop away at the rest of my hair......I'm gonna be bald soon.......time to hide the scissors...
7) Smile...because tomorrow the weather is supposed to be lovley (well rainy, but lovley)...and it only gets better from there!

The Pants Are Arbitrary

Side not for anyone who cares: Pants alone cannot make someone a "fancy-pants" (well I suppose that if one was wearing something like diamond-encrusted chaps they might recieve comments such as "those are some fancy pants" but that's not really what I am talking about).....Rather, it is an essence, and aoura of "fanciness" that hangs around one's body like a pair of gently-fitted, well-worn, slacks.......very few people have such a quality, and even fewer can recognize it in others......if you are one of the few than you should consider yourself blessed.......I know I do...

It Feels Like Forever

It does, it certainly does, even though It has only been about five days since my last posting. I guess there's a lot to mention..... I got to spend my twenty-first birthday with my 3-day-old nephew....which made it the best birthday in the world.
Mates of State was awesome, my friends are the best.....Twiggy is , well let's just say, he'd do anything for you, even if it's incredibley imasculating ......refreshing to "hang out" with someone so secure in himself.
Talked to "Fancy Pants" FINALLY!......What a stud......friendly too.....hmmm, who to trust, his old roomate or the first impression Mike and I got of his "vanilla-wielding" genius......I think I am gonna go with the latter.
Gonna go out tonight...finally check out Blue, mabye meet Christie, although I am still wary about her existence.....should be fun!

I'm an Aunt!

Hey Guys!!....I'm officially an Aunt....Aiden Daniel was born at 11:51 pm last night.....I saw him this morning and he is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABY EVER!!....Seriously, I felt kind of bad for the other babies in the nursery, I mean they were cute but ......lets put it this way, I hope their parents weren't making any comparisons.
Can't compete with perfection!

Quick update:
The picture to the right is me and my sister in law Laura. Currently she is in the hospital hoping to induce labor by doing laps around her floor.......I'm excited but terribly nervous for her and baby Aiden. I'll let you know how everything goes!!!!

E-E-E-E (sound of my favorite machine)

Last night was spent doing work (minimal) and piecing together my puppets.....I actually was having a really good time...listening to Ted Leo and the Pharamcists (perfect puppet-making music) and sewing to my hearts content. I love new little projects....ones that I create on my own.....none of that "pattern" business, that's for chumps (of course I probably only feel that way because I suck at following directions)......
So now I'm gonna finish my Sri Lanka application and hand it in......then it's naptime and (fingers-crossed) more private time with my sewing machine (how I love thee)......oh and perhaps a concert tonight...If it's not too wierd...(or lets face it, even if it is too wierd, never stopped us before)....
