112 Journals

I just noticed that status bar. 112 journals seems like a lot of posting to me. (e:ladycroft) has 200+ I just noticed and she posts all the time.

I don't think my sarcasm played out all that well in the blockbuster post. I hope you accept my apologies (e:leetee), if I offended you.

I rode my bike for the first time this year. My tires lost air over the winter, so I pulled out my trusty bike pump and went to fill them up, only to notice that the valves are super skinny and small. I never took note of it before, so I had to go to Bert's and get another bike pump (or a valve adapter for $1) before I could do anything. I was kind of annoyed at Bert's because I couldn't tell from the packaging which pump fit which valve.
Moral of the story check the valve stem.

Getting back to the bike, I rode to Medaille for my group meeting. I plan on riding my bike to work soon too. I'm not ready to pay $3/gallon for gas for my car when I can just as easily leave an hour earlier and pedal my ass to work.

Robo Cop

I got RoboCop in the mail today from Netflix.

I find it rather funny to watch movies made in the past. They are so corny. I feel bad for the movie industry. Consumers are unforgiving and I don't think they are going to be able to stay ahead of the curve much longer. The only movie that I have seen lately that still impresses me is Jurassic Park. The Star Wars franchise still impresses me and those are from the 80s.

Guilty & Proud of It

I park in handicap parking spaces and regularly commit other social atrocities for which I am karmicly punished...almost hourly.

I ran into blockbuster to drop off a movie and pick another one up. I'm in there 2 minutes, tops. I come out and there is this woman (henceforth referred to as megabitch) standing by my car. I go to unlock the door and she fucking storms me, getting in my face demanding to know why I parked in the handicap spot. According to her "YOU don't LOOK handicapped". I told her she didn't look like a fucking bitch at first glance either.

Then I calmly got in my car, pulled out and did the only thing I could to do just push her over the edge... I stuck my tongue out at her.

Call me sexist, call me vile. I don't understand why women in particular feel the need to go over and above the call of social annoyance sometimes.

Its not all women, I usually wind up getting into it with some woman that has 2.5 kids and a minivan. God how I avoid the minivans.

I think this brings up my socially unacceptable behavior towards the female population tally up to 12, 13 if you count the old lady and the shopping cart incident at Wegmans.

Class

I hate being forced to listen to stupid people that don't know what they are talking about.

I'm not saying I know what I'm talking about, but at least I don't pretend I do.

RAR!

Why I Don't Write More

I don't post that much on (e:strip) soley becuase I don't do anything interesting on a daily basis. I do the exact same thing every day. Sure I run into a wall every once and a while, but it would be so tedious to explain the situation that the reader would get bored.

Maybe I'm boring. Er, no I know I'm boring.

That said, I am going to watch some tv and eat cinnamon rolls.

See, didn't I say I was boring. :-p

cars

I was going to mention a funny observation that american cars seem to have side mirrors that do not match the body paneling of the car. driving today I noticed that is not always the case. ford explorers seem to have black mirrors and colored panels, but chevy malibu's for the most part have side mirrors that match the body paint.

i need a life.

on another note, i took my car to delta sonic to get cleaned out and this woman totally flipped out on the poor teenager that happened to be just standing by her car because they couldn't get a stain out of her carpet (?) she did not appear to be the smartest person in the entire planet but she sure was fucking nasty. i gave the girl a $10 tip when she came to get me because i felt so bad for her. dumb bitch.

FlightPlan

I am on a movie break right now. Jeff and I watched XXX:state of the union which I thought was terrible, and Flightplan, which was suspensful, but anticlimatic.

Jeff is looking for an Indian Head Nickel Money Clip online right now. Eminent Design was selling it for way more than Froogle and overstock.com are offering it. I guess they need to make money somehow. :op Really, I love those guys! If you haven't been, its a great store on the corner of Allen & Elmwood, its been there for quite a while.

Wegmans was crazy. The chip aisle was ravaged, I wish I would have taken a picture of it.

Jeff took me up to the YMCA in Niagara Falls today. Holy shit did they turn that place around. If anyone's been up there before it was purchased and taken a look now, its been cleaned up a lot. They still have these super-creepy weight rooms randomly tucked into two of the floors. All three weight rooms had totally outdated equipment from like the 1960s. It didn't smell or anything and the men's locker room was surprisingly clean.

There are two racquet ball courts in great condition. Short of the pool, racquet ball is the only other reason I would travel to the Y.

Perhaps we'll be privy to some Jagger boobie today.
