Last Final Tomorrow...
This semester is alomst over...one more day, one more final. My finance exam is at 9:00 tomorrow so I'm sure I'm going to dream that I overslept and missed it. If I don't get a good grade on it I'll fail the class. I feel like I'm well prepared for it but that's the same way I felt about the last one. ANd I bombed the last one when I couldn't attempt the capital budgeting problem. Luckily so did half the class and tomorrows exam will have another problem that will allow me to make every point I missed...cool teacher!!! The exams are open book but he asked a question that was completely off the charts and I strucutred my notes based on the answers that he posted on Blackboard. This time, unlike last time, I've gone through each and every problem analyzed them from every angle and attempted most twice. The only thing is I had the answers in front of me and used them to get through each problem instead of critically thinking my way through them. Fuckin' shortcuts. Normally I don't take 'em but even for me this stuff is pretty complicated. I didn't want this to get to the point where I say, "hey, I'll never use this stuff again," because these are the fundamentals of making money. It's easy to put a product out there and sell it but it takes finance to remove some of the guess work out of things like should I take on this product or should I take on that project. Hopefully, with practice I'll understand the ins and outs a little better.
But anyway, I'm injured. I think I pulled a groin muscle this morning moving gravel around my driveway and then i went to the gym for a leg workout making things even worse. It's not superbad but I hope it heals quick cause my rollerblades and bicycles have been calling my name. I just won't be able to hit my lowerbody next week. Come to think of it, abs might be out too and I just started working them three times a week again. Not sure how cut I'll be by the time summer comes but I'm gettin my act together for another $100,000 Body for Life challenge and possibly the Men's Health Abs diet thing. I love the fact that by making body transformations I can enter contests and win stuff. But i'm gonna start in a couple of weeks so if anyone wants to get with me on it privately or publicly, let me know. Soon I'll post some goals for the twelve weeks along with unhealthy habits I need to modify and replace with healthy patterns.
But anyway pray for me that I'll ace my finance final so I can take home 4 A's this semester.
