Best of sketchy bunnies
Remember Sketchy Santas?
The tootsie roll is just a little bit deeper.
Bunnies should not get an orange rocket around children!
I don't think this is a bunny, perhaps a demonic pig?
Last, but not least!!!
Thanks (e:metalpeter), I stole this from your Halloween journal journal from 2010.
I will leave you with preciousness, not sketchiness. Coco Conejo sends love to all!

Mugs in the news!
I just found this awesome mug shot thing that shows full color photos of all the arrests in Chicago and what they were arrested for. It is really kind of fun when you are bored.
(e:flacidness) have you seen this? So far I haven't seen your mug shot but I am looking for you.

Dear Ugly Bra Girl,
If you read the comments on my last journal and what I wanted to do to ugly bra girl's stuff, this is way better. This is the second week in a row that I had taken her stuff out of the washer after waiting a half hour to see if she would remove them first. Both times when I had completely finished washing and drying three loads of laundry, she had not come down yet to remove her clothes from the washers.

Call for action
If you get a chance (it only takes a minute), please call your NYS Assembly Member today and ask them to fully fund the NYS Tobacco Control Program at 58.4 million. Please do so right away as they are voting on this withing the next 48 hours.
Working for the NYS Smokers' Quitline, I know how desperate people are in need of help quitting smoking. It is completely unfair that the government is taxing cigarettes at the levels they are while at the same time threatening to remove funding to help people quit.
Currently, for every dollar collected in taxes, less than a fraction of a penny is invested in smoking cessation. Tobacco dependence is a serious addiction and many people are unable to quit without support.
To find the number for your representative follow the link.
Thanks,
Libertad
P.S The NYS Smokers' Quitline helped me quit 4 years ago and I am still extremely greatful for their assistance. The money invested in these programs is not wasted.

Laundry nightmares turn to wet dreams
Besides that I have little tiny holes in a bunch of shirts which I think are because of the machines. I'm a long ways away from having my own washer and dryer but hopefully not too long. First I have to move to somewhere with hookups. Gotta have the hookups.
My ultimate dream is to have laundry in my actual living space. I also really love the new style washers and dryers that save energy and water, they are so seXXXy.
This is a real magnet that's on my fridge.

Wish me luck
I really want a new one. Mine is so dinky and it is old so I have to have that stupid converter box since I don't have cable. This is my second converter box and this one doesn't work properly so I only have like two channels.
I was surprised to see many of the gift baskets with liquor in them. It sort of made me laugh to see the liquor bottles in the hospital like that, they even had tequila. The raffle is going on for three days I think so you could still enter if you want, just don't go for the TV!
I am on a blogging roll....

How I got to Buffalo
So I ended up crashing the car, totaling it (not on purpose). The car was gone and so was my ball and chain. My friend Mary had already moved to Buffalo and was living with her boyfriend Adam and they offered to have me move into their 2nd bedroom for a very low cost. They lived on Main Street, steps from the Amherst Street Rail Station. I could take a train to the local community college ECC and not need a new car, a new ball and chain.
I left Rochester, I left a lot of things, my family, my abusive ex, my past. It was refreshing but I had a very hard time. My past wasn't so easily left. Actually, it followed me. Shortly after arriving, the city of Rochester seized my bank account for unpaid parking tickets, of course from the ex. The only money I had in the account was enough to pay for the monthly bus pass I needed to get to school and work.
I have been in Buffalo for 11 years now, the longest I have ever been anywhere in my life. I am a Buffalonian more than I am anything else. I went to ECC City Campus, I transfered to Buffalo State and I have worked and contributed ever since I got here. It is here that I have found faith again, here in one of the most distressed cities in the US. I love Buffalo even when in the beginning I hated it.

There are a lot of songs that I like from the 90's and I hope to one day make a list of them too. They are probably more from the later 90's I think. (e:tiny) and (e:brit) we are all the same age, I can definitely see (e:brit) with the straight up bangs that were so popular back then.
(e:uncutsaniflush), I thought this would spark your interests. Did I ever like these songs or did I just grow to hate them because they were so overplayed? I would say that I never really liked these ones but it definitely is making me think. Actually, I would say that these songs really alienated me from music at the time. Of course this was pre Internet was everywhere era so it was kind of hard to have access to anything that my parents didn't own or that wasn't on the radio.
I really think that I especially hate these songs not just because they aren't my taste but for the association they have in my life. The bus, 98pxy and my life which for the most part during these years was not so happy. It was interesting because Mike and I were at Cathode and strangely they began showing the videos of this period and this all started coming back to me.
I love how music really makes you remember different times, people or places in your life. It is so powerful really, even though these songs make me remember things from the past that weren't that happy, I am sort of glad for them.
For some reason, your post reminds me of the Talking Heads song Heaven. :::link::: "The band in heaven plays my favorite song. They play it once again, they play it all night long."
Apparently, there is a thin line between concepts of Hell and Heaven.
I feel for you about being made fun of for your accent. Growing up in a Detroit suburb that was predominantly German-American, I didn't have a name, I was just that "dumb Polak." It probably didn't help that when I moved to the U.S. at the age of 6, I didn't speak English.
