last day home

So these are pictures from my last night in Georgia. Tomorrow I get to get on a flight and head off. I have a feeling I will not be bored there. I wish I had less luggage because carrying shit is a pain in the ass(it's more fun to pack shit, haha), unfortunately I seem to have a clothing addiction. So long y'all. I'll see you in January.

Kiah is really into drawing pictures these days. She drew my friend Courtney with her boyfriend Keith and said "Look this is Courtney with her big hair blowing in the wind." I can't find that drawing though. Here are some photo's.

little miss Kiah fixing her own ice cream because she is a big girl about to start school so she can do it herself.

So France is in my Buffalo apartment and I'll be flying to Germany on Monday. I've been fixing my car up for Mawmaw. I have 6 books to read and some of them are huge. One is a linguistic history of the world.
I asked Kiah to draw a picture of us holding hands but she says she keeps messing up. I'm ready to go. I need to pack my shit. I'm ready for a change, being at home seeing my childhood friends is nice but there are some things you just can't go back to because they'll never be the same. Kiah is still working on the drawing. If she'll get it done I'll scan it and post it. I walked down the trail to my brother's hose a little while ago. little Lea is such a sweetie, whenI don't scare her anyway.

mama and daddy growing older

Today was my Mama's birthday. My dad's birthday is coming up on Tuesday. My mom is two days older than him. They're both 61 this year. My brother, Eric had a little party for them at his house. I wasn't feeling so good because of my period and the late night i had last night. My mawmaw made it out. She says she wants to buy my car but I'm not so sure she needs it. She almost ran over my Dad and she rolled into my brother, Scott's truck.

I bleed and yet I do not die

My stomach is killing me. As soon as i got to slim's last night my monthly visitor came a calling. It was a fun little party. Slim bought me a bottle of captain. I'll post some pics later. The class of 99 was totally represented. there were rubber band wars and people fooling around in the bed room. I was talking to tria about trees, their roots, trunks and branches or underworld, earth and heaven.

I was good today

I taught Kiah how to wipe her own ass this morning. I guess it feels empowering to learn things sometimes. Lea is not afraid of me anymore as you will see below. the first day I was back here I crawled across the floor to her and growled. she started screaming her lungs out. i read to Kiah and Gracie from the rotting goddess, the origin of the witch in classical antiquity I'm sure my Catholic sister in law loved that(she was a good sport). Kiah picked out a section on dismemberment, one of my areas of fascination. I was like, you go girl, snap snap snap.
