water bill

I'm surprised our first bill averages out to 45/mo. what are all these penalties on the bill? what did I do wrong that I need to be penalized? I've never paid directly for water before and I wonder how our usage compares, I don't think I use a lot of water.

And yes Janelle, we were warned by previous owner that she caught the next door neighbor filling their pool with her water, thankfully those people moved out shortly after we moved in.

It is a shock, right, to find out how much water costs! It will be higher in the summer if you water your lawn and garden a bit or wash your cars. And in your neighborhood watch out for neighbors trying to hook up to your outside spigot. And keep an eye on yout usage trend. If it gets really out of whack you have a leak somewhere. We discovered a leak in a pipe that ran from the house to the garage and the wasted water doubled our bill.

Dying to make a will

Yeah, So I was going to have a will drawn up tomorrow but we're supposed to get all this snow right when I have to go the stupid burbs and all over the city. I'm canceling my appointment, wouldn't that be crazy if I died going to get my will?

In case you are wondering, it's going to (e:Mike). I'm being buried in a pine box right away without embalming...I like forest lawn if they are still doing the green burial.

Goodbye Maureen

Today I saw (e:maureen)’s obituary and it kinda gave me a gasp, it was just so real, when it hasn't seemed real at all. Maureen would never have been in my life if it weren't for Mike, and Mike and I are still together because of Maureen. I’m so fortunate to have realized, before it was too late, that I love Mike so much, and I can’t imagine what it would be like without him. Maureen compliments Mike in such a beautiful way, and now there is a part of Mike that is missing, and it is so hard to know, and see, how much pain he is in.

I’m so thankful to be a small part of Maureen’s life; I wish her well wherever she is. To all who loves her, I wish you comfort and lasting memories of her true beauty.
