I have gone back and forth in my mind regarding the Hotel thing. When I learned that Mondo Video probably would not move to a new location due to the high rents charged on other parts of Elmwood, my mind was made up. Without Mondo we are all at the mercy of Blockbuster. They don't even have an uncut version of Showgirls! Since I never plan on staying at a Hotel on Elmwood Ave, Mondo is clearly the better option for me.

I compared the horoscopes posted in spanish and english on the Yahoo webpage. I assumed they would be the same, but they are entirely different.

The Lewiston-Porter School campus was built on a portion of the 7,500 acre LOOW site. Many are concerned of toxins on the campus. I went to the campus to search for health reports and the woman gave me this link:

However, she hasn't read any of the reports even though she posted them herself to the schools website. She said she didn't have time, and the fact is I don't either.



Where have all the people gone? Faded for sale signs hang in the windows. As I took pictures, I began to feel ill.



These mobile homes filled with teenagers live accross the street from the abandoned homes.

Niagara Falls Storage Site. This is where the radioactive waste from the atomic bombs is kept. While I was taking pictures, all of my senses went numb. I had the urge to vomit. Everypart of my being told me to get out of there. Something was making me very ill.

Let the children play! A nearby resident told me that she had moved in a few months ago. She said her child plays in the woods all the time. When I asked her if she knew of the radioactive waste from the atom bombs she said that I was wrong. The bombs were made in Tennessee. How right she is. They just took the waste and disposed of it here.



We ate at a local restaurant in Youngstown zip code 14174. The waitress informed us that this area has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the country. As she is not from the area, she tells us that many people in the area have rotted teeth. As she turned away to turn in our order, a man with the classic M.S. crutches walks by the window.



After lunch, we had enough of Niagara County for one day.

Ok, I'm trying to test puting photos on the site. I'm having troubles. Not very techincally inclined. These creatures are from the Tampa Zoo.

I have never posted a blog (is this a blog?). It sure is scary the first time you do it. Secretly I have been epeeping on epeeps for quite a while now. I have found I love photos in peoples journals. Question...if you post a photo here is it considered copyrighted? Originally, I wanted my username to be Señor Conejo (Mr. Wabbit), unfortunately, you can't have spaces or special characters in your name. I decided to stay with a Spanish username, Libertad. What is libertad anyways? It means freedom, but what is freedom? Why would I call my self Libertad when I am paranoid to have even more of my personal information forever stored in some database? I don't really know the answer to my question, but hey let the libertad ring.

So here I am exposed to the world in one of those ridiculous tourist attraction photo opportunities (Yes, I am supposed to be a Manatee). I really don't like these things. These "things" you are supposed to put your head through so someone can take your picture. Really, I only did it because it made someone happy, I guess that is all that matters.
