If I had a gun, I and everyone around me would be dead.

I have been programming for about 18 out 24 hours a day for a while now. It seems like the more I do it, the more interested in doing it more. Kind of like drugs more it pays better and it changes all the time because I have like 5 million different projects going on at work.

We decided on curly's for my mom's birthday party dinner on Friday. Now I just need a cake. Maybe its time to break out the new mixer.

I was up late last night with the tortoise who was wretching up bird.

Then I went to work. I ended up getting into something that should take like 3 days but i didn't have three days so I compressed it into a 13 hour stretch with no lunch. In fact I just did not eat today and there is only a half hour until tommorow. I figured it was worth getting it over with so that I could actually have tommorow and the Monday holiday off without having to stress about it. That way I can work on the house this weekend.

I have been so busy with work. It seems to somehow take up my entire life on most days. Lots of awesome stuff got done but mostly I am just tired right now.

The roof is going to start this or next week. There goes $20,000 - at last it isn't the $30,000 I thought it was going to be.

My work is making me use a blackberry because the iphone is too insecure

The upside is that he blackerry is for work only and comes with tethering which which means my iphone's battery will probably last longer.

I found this awesome ibm site that tracks visualizations. Its pretty neat.

But my life has been a series a computer programming tasks, followed by home repair tasks - back to back, 18/7. I am ready for the part of summer that has things like food festivals and hiking.

I know I always say this, but I am right on the edge of having the new estrip done. I will have to do some more testing and optimization. The only things I have left are the new mobile site, the avatar upload, and the preferences pane.

I missed like 15 dancing opportunities this weekend because I am lame. Tonight we are having a vegetarian dinner party. I am nervous about the tasty value in that.

work
After a nice long weekend, I had a crazy day of programming, demonstrating, writing letters, meetings and quick hacks. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. I am feeling frustrated with how slow everything moves at my work and how every conversation requires 75 minutes of small talk before the matter at hand can be addressed. I am so bad at small talk when something time dependent is waiting. Maybe I am just a boring person.

Home Life
The anniversary was nice. We spent the day just hanging out together and fixing things. We fixed a drain and installed a new lamp in our bedroom closet. Then (e:matthew) and I took a bath while (e:terry) studied and at the end of the day we went to Mother's for dinner where I had an 18oz ribeye steak that was so delcious.

Along the way we went shopping at some antique stores and I saw this tray. I always wanted one of these. I also bought a lamb roast to match. Friday, they will meet each other and then my stomach.



They also had these crazy lights in there basement. What were they for. Medical use, disco lights?


Robbers
About 10 people/cars/houses on our block have been robbed including our neighbors the other day. We saw a dude enter their house through the door and we just assumed it was a worker because when I checked the door it was locked. The dude then stole all of their electonics and shipped them over the back fence. I wish I had realized what was going on.

Then last night on the way home from dinner some very capable look, young black guy begged us for money - that annoys me more than anything. I am fine with the cripples and crazzies and old people but when young people who are clearly in better physical shape than me ask for money - I find it hard to believe they can't do something to for work. On the way out the woman who sat next to us found her window smashed. He was still there bothering people for money. He either did it or saw who did it.

I think they may have caught the house robber and it was the same guy that robbed out house two years ago ;(

Other forms of robbery include food costs. I just can't ebeliev how much food costs keep skyrocketing. Look at the cost of these freaking cookies.

All night I waited to write my 3000th journal entry and I felt pressure to decide what it was. I had all these ideas about writing about the significance of estrip in my life, etc. But then I decided I should save that for 5000. I kept putting everything off.

Then I saw this: Jessica and Jacob Sanchez are friend - and it gave me something to write about.



(e:lilho) has arrived in Buffalo and partying began for the not Crohnsies.

I went to sleep at like midnight because I am old and tired.

Now its 5am+ and everyone is home. Luckily, I am not even tired because of my nap.

Tip of the day: Don't drink sherry it makes you a mean.

Speaking of new beginnings
The last tenant is gone downstairs at the rental property which means after 3 years of owning it I can finally get in there and start some rennovations!

So, today I petted a cat for the first time in my life. It even sat on my lap. I am very allergic now - we were outside - it was cute. Right now I feel like I might die of allergies.

work
Great day web programming at work - it feels like I don't get to do that much anymore. I have upgraded to Zend studio Neon which is built on top of eclipse like all my other IDEs (flex and aptana) I think I am happy with this accept for the fact that eclipse does not have word wrap - what the fuck!

estrip
Tommorow is the big day to move the server to (e:fing)'s house. I wish it could be at my house instead as it costs $99/month - at least that way I could kill two birds with one stone but alas - FIOS is still no where near my part of the city.

Gym
I have been going the gym evry day, I am looking buffer already. I think by the end of summer I should be pretty buff if I keep up with it and I don't get some horrible crohn's drama death thing - so far the Lialda seems to be working great.

I just wanted to thank the universe that my main interests are computers and cell phones. Had it been mountain climbing or running, all these set backs would have ruined my life. Then again maybe the fact that my interests were cell phone and computers has ruined my health, lol. No i do seriously move around a lot and it sucks that I can't move as much as I want right now.
