Zhangs's Buffet

I wentto Zhang's buffet on union with some of my coworkers tdoay. We saw an estrip bumper sticker in the parking lot and it turned out to be (e:umcutsaniflush) and (e:leetee) who are going onh a cruise. I am so jealous. I want to be in the sun.

This time I only ate the seafood and rice plus a chicken wing and it was much better. It would be hard to mess up mussels.

I still think their sushi is not good.

OMFG Secondlife what happend

So yesterday (e:jim) emails me to say the SL economy has crashed .

Then, I woke up this morning to find that someone had returned all my property form Slate. My hometown in Secondlife. I was so mad that it was gone and then I thought, wait - thats my land how did they banish my stuff from it?

Then I logged in and saw - someone seriously paid 200,000L/$700 US dollars for my remaining tiny plot of land. I can't believe it. It has had the price tag of $700 for months, maybe even a year and everyone always tried to bargain down. I refused to budge on the price thinking I would rather own the land then sell it for cheaper. Then this morning I wake up and bam. I get an email saying my shit has been returned to me by the owner of the land.

image

I know the secondlife economy crashed yesterday. But its still worth $700 US. This means I have made almost $2000 off this game I never even play. Should I cash out or re-invest in the long term. I think I might just cash out. I figure if I ever want back in I could just buy some land.

You have sold L$209530 for a total of US$732.59 using LindeX. Your Second Life account will be credited the net proceeds.

Sushi at Kuni's To Go

:enknot and I went to lunch at Kunis again today. I freakin love their food. It is so tasty.

image

I got tuna and yellow tail rolls
image

I really like their wakame salad.
image

This squid was really yummy and really cool looking.
image

The marekerel was exactly the type I like. I would suggest theirs definately.
image

Everything was perfect as always. They really just have the best Sushi in town. It is, however, a most expensive lunch if you are not getting the Bento box. I seriously think my lunch came to $19.00. Seeing as I barely eat out anymore - I am going to jusify that.

At the denist in Kenmore

Totally unrelated. Yeserday, I was in Kenmore for the dentist and I tooka couple pics of the trip. Yes, officially pet lover's paradise is closed. It looks like it was closed for a long time and i just never noticed. Does anyone else remember the monkey from in there that everyone said hey gave lsd too? Was that an urban legend or can someone substantiate that store.

The one thing about Kenmore is that everytime I return I am awe struck by its natural beauty.

Nokia is my new Apple

After a long stint with loving apple stuff I now love nokia stuff better. I wonder if they will ever make a nokia computer that I could need. I love how international they are

THis phone i seriously like a digital camera/phone combo. It has a freakin 5P camera. I think they are going for phone/camera what apple did for the phone/music player.

Whats really going on in this one It reminds me so much of art school meets commercial space.

Matthew at home on Linwood

Here is a pic I took of (e:matthew) today using the nokia 7900. It ttakes 2 megaapixel images but I usually just take them at 640x480. It also lets you take videos and use them for ringtones.

Taking the bus to the dentist

With wireless broadband and my nokia 810, taking the bus is pleasant. I took it to my dentist in Kenmore near Sheridan. Unfortunately, the bus was only the stupid Kenmore line one and my dentist was near Sheridan. It was great chatting with (e:hodown) on IM the whole time. I sent her pics from Kenmore along the way. It was so weird to be back in tthe old hood, running through the streets with (e:hodown), even if she was really in NYC.

The online metro system is so dumb. Its all in PDF. Luckily, my nokia 810 reads PDFs so I saved all the schedules while on the bus. Who has mobile access to PDFs besides me. I think i might put up a better site tonight.

Pet lover's paradise is closed. I wonder what happend to the monkey?

Love at first site - Nokia 7900 Prism

I have more to talk about but I wanted to share a picture of my new baby phone that I love. It is so great to have a phone that has a dialpad. It is the first non-touchscreen dialpad/non-keypad dialpad I have ever had. Today was actually me first experience texting on a number pad. It provides a perfect seemless 3g internet experience for the not phone on the go.
