Hiking at the Niagara Gorge

(e:yesthatcasey) and I headed down to the Gorge for a hike on Saturday. Poor (e:terry) couldn't make it because he had to process taxes all day.

It was nice to spend the day relaxing in the sun and I got to talk through a bunch of stuff going through my head.

We saw (e:holly)'s husband Brian filming down there.

Little Rock City

We had such a fun time climbing at Little Rock City in Ellicottville. It was 60 and sunny with snow up to my knees. It felt so great to be in the sun. Strangely Ellicottville was having Mardi Gras today. All the places were decorated for Mardi Gras and people were wearing beads.

(e:robert) is so adventurous. He climbed all up on everything and he and (e:terry) wrestled the day away. Then we had yummy food at the Ellicotville Brewery Company.

Smashing Rocks at Zoar

Very last minute we went to zoar. I swam a bit and then we smashed the hell out of shale rocks by hurling granite ones at them. It was quite satisfying.

So far today I ate three fried eggs, bacon, and a cheeseburger which is a very unusual diet for me. I need to switch up at dinner, not that I am getting fat. I am actually quite trim at 150 right now. I'm the perfect base that if I hit the gym starting soon I will look amazing during the seasons when you wear the most clothes and no one ever sees it, lol.

Fillmore - New York State Park

We camped at Fillmore for the second night of the trip on the way out to the adirondacks. It was really green and lush in the forest there. There were so many amazing bridges and stone walkways. It even had a dammed in swimming area.

While hiking I found the same berries I also ate while hiking in Portland. What are they? They are similar to raspberries but flat and have different leaves.

Akron Falls Park

Total waste of time. You can't go near the water, no swimming, the water stinks anyways. The guys who went near the water in my photo got yelled at from above by loud speakers saying they were tresspassing.

Its pretty to look at but that's it. Just imagine if thr stank ass hoyt lake water went over a a waterfall.

The town there seems so country. We stopped in the Shur Fine and it felt like stepping into South Carolina.

Hiking at Zoar

We went a different way and started at the other parking lot and headed toward the confluence. The police were out in full force checking for people drinking. The police Guy had on the coolest shoes. Thy had mesh bottoms to let the water out.

We caught he cutest baby snake. It was so friendly.

Devil's Hole

It was fun other than (E:terry) kicking a rock down the hill that smashed my ankle which is killing me now.

If this is the Devils Hole, and it sures stinks like it, where is his mouth?

Hiking at Little Rock city

We headed down to little rock city to enjoy the sun and some climbing. I really need to get back to the gym. Its amazing how much less secure I felt since I lost all the muscle I had gained at the gym. Unfortunately, this was the worst winter ever for exercise. There wasn't really enough snow for winter fun and the gym closed down. That plus I worked too much.

The picture of (e:terry) is so funny. He is so damn white right now. Its like the polar opposite (pun intended) of when you when take a picture of (e:flacidness) in a dimly lit environment.
