Looks like another fun night of dancing coming up on 3/16 at Dnipro on St. Patrick's Day Weekend . Somehow I missed this last year





Its going to be one crazy ass St. Patrick's day weekend this year. According to the Buffalo St Patrick's Day Parade site the parade is on Sunday the 17th.

1. No Matt's birthday being ruined by St. Patrick's Day overshadow.
2. A fun night of dancing at Dnipro the night before.
3. The parade on Sunday.
4. No work Monday or Tuesday.

I just wish (e:lilho) was here for it.

Just this morning I was thinking to myself, why hasn't there been another party at Dingens Bar and Grill? The last one I attended was so fun. Then I saw this flyer. Not only is there going to be one. Marty McFly is playing. You can see the lineup below. Hopefully this time I can get more people to go with us.

I cannot believe they did not mention Andy C when listing off previous year headliners. He is the main reason. I went the last two years.

CANADAS PREMIER ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL RETURNS TO SOUTH ALGONQUIN AUGUST 17th TO 19TH, 2012

Destiny Events, Embrace and Electronic Nation are pleased to announce the 16th annual World Electronic Music Festival will take place August 17th to 19th in South Algonquin. Previous WEMF years have seen headline artists such as Deadmau5, Skrillex, Rusko, Calvin Harris, Paul Oakenfold, Pendulum and hundreds more. Stay tuned for the unveiling of this years lineup scheduled for early March!

In celebration of all things WEMF, we are once again offering a very special "for those who know" pre-release ticket sale. At 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 1st, the first 1000 3-day tickets to WEMF 2012 will be made available for online purchase for only $179 (plus service charge). Notice of this sale is going out to our dedicated mailing list and posted on our website but no artists will be announced until after the sale. Pre-release tickets have sold out in less than 48hrs in previous years, so mark your calendar and get them quick!

The first block of tickets will ONLY be available online at www.ticketweb.com and www.livenation.com.

After the first block of tickets are sold, we will release additional blocks of 1000, available both online and in stores at higher increments so be sure to get yours early in the process for maximum value!

• Please note that all ticket prices include tax. Vendor service fee is not included and will be added to your ticket at time of purchase. Initial presale is available online only. Additional ticket outlets and ticket types will be announced.

All tickets are valid for UNLIMITED IN and OUTS on ALL THREE DAYS and include B.Y.O.B. CAMPING. CAMPING. WEMF is produced for a mature audience. Recommend age is 18+ and you MUST be at least 16 years of age to attend. You must be 19+ with valid ID to bring or consume alcohol at your campsite.

ALL patrons will be required to sign an event participation waiver prior to entry that will be available ahead of time on our website at wemf.com. Those under 18 MUST have the waiver form signed by parent or legal guardian.

I took some pics when we were there last week but it was dark. The club is so awesome looking. Its got the fanciness of a club in Vegas but everything is made of real stuff. I looks like it was built-in the 20s with a lot of deck style.

Even the bathrooms are super fancy. A full closing door, super decorated bathroom for each individual instead of one per gender with stalls.

We are going back to tonight for a trance party if anyone is interested in tagging along.

The Get Down Solstice! event at dnipro was a blast. I haven't danced so hard in so long. I hope there will more events like it to follow. The DJ that played the Andy C 1995 syrous set made my night. The walk home at 5am was only 15 minutes. They had 4 dance areas with 23 DJs playing different genres. My favorite was the drum and bass in the attic but the best dancefloor was in the main hall.

I couldn't find any pictures or reviews online but I saw so many people with cameras. I wish I had taken more. If anyone has some, tell me where to find them.

The location is awesome. There are three stories of dancefloors. One in giant theater with a massive vinyl dance floor. It is so perfectly slippery. Then they have an outdoor stage.

Sadly, although I am dancing I am wildly preoccupied with several other issues. Sometimes I wish I had the constitution to be a heroin junkie so I could just escape.

I am so exited to go dancing close to home in a large space tonight

We actually parked our car near my work and walked to the cosmopolitan art gallery over the Cherry St bridge. I think I might just walk next time.
