(e:flacidness) and I headed up to the dionysis festival at brushwood on Friday. It was a fun evening filled with wine and dancing. I never drank so many kinds of wine at once. I would have taken more pics but I had nothing to put my phone in.

It was interesting because almost all of the people were from Buffalo.

I really enjoyed watching them light the red flying lanterns.

He picked up a wheelbarrel of wood and returned an (e:terry).

We accidentally all went a weekend early to brushwood for Sirius rising. Luckily, (e:hodown) stayed because the event is next weekend and she would have missed her plane.

It was still fun to hang out and camp. We also got to swim a bit, although in a chlorinated pool. In the evening casey and I almost cooked ourselves to death in the hot tub because it was so cold walking back to camp wet that we didn't want to get out.



Man, I thought those chairs were uncomfortable for me. I can't imagine being as tall as (e:keithT) and trying to nap in one. It would kill my neck.


I am going to try and cut out of work early this week and use up some vacation time to attend a couple days of the festival and the fire this weekend.

I guess going a week early is better than going a week late.

One of the coolest parts was a vertical campfire in a hollow tree log with holes allowing viewing inside. I would have taken a picture but I no phone with me.

The overall best moment was dancing to the music of the drum circle barefoot by the campfire. The worst moment was trying to do a roundoff off of bench and missing my target.

(e:mike) is going to the beach. I am jealous.

I went back to brushwood with (e:enknot). It was awesome, I wanted to stay for the Sirius Rising and Summer festivals. Danced all night by a giant fire to drumming and a flute player and then spent an interesting night chatting with all kinds of crazy.

Snapped this pic Just before this cute blonde guy turned the corner returning from the shower. Last night he had on this awesome red robe, at that moment though he was skyclad. Someone said they heard that he was doing something with norse something or other. I wanted to ask him about it but I just mumbled hello as I found myself somehow shy/embarrassed looking at him walk by.





We also spent the evening in a hottub with some people from the Hash House Harriers where I met a bunch of people with very inappropriate names they had given each other.
