my mom and I were out to eat today and I saw this kid wearing a totally inappropriate tee. The cat shirt I tried on at urban outfitters but didn't have the guts to buy it.

random thoughts

I really want to see requiem for a dream again.

had a great conversation with my dad tonight. He really is a great guy.

Our family has been struggling since the loss of our cottage and my grandmother we aren't sure how to keep it together, they were the glue.

squaw island drowning has claimed the life of another young person, another 17 year old. The last 17 year old who died there I knew, it was/is obviously very difficult for the family. I'm sure this has opened old wounds for them.

I don't want to go to bed.

Still got the poison ivy

I just thought I'd put these up to compare to earlier stages. I just washed the water shoes I walked through the ivy with in the washing machine. used very warm almost hot water, tide, bleach and baking soda. I hope that got all the oil off. If not im in for round 2 next time I wear them. I can't imagine what it must be like to have this all over or in a sensitive area. Hope I never find out.

ugh, what is it?

I'm not sure what these red itchy bumps are from but it is freaking me out. The second pic has the itchiest spot but the redness next to it is from a scratch. I think I need to get it checked out.

Zoar Valley trip with the guys

went with Mike, Paul, Terry and Casey to Zoar over the weekend. I could kill them for making us scale down that cliff as a short cut. I have serious fears of heights and told them I never want to do anything like that again.

Paul and Mike went swimming even though it wasn't hot out and the water was cold. Paul and Casey became obsessed with trying to be more powerful than nature and divert the course of a little off shoot from the rapids. And we also saw a huge Spider and snake.
