Crappy Processed Food - Spam
The thought of it kind of makes me sick. It reminds me of this one time I thought it would be fun to eat armyt rations. I am not sure where I got them from but I think I had expired diced turkey in a black pouch. It was really bad, since then i am a little scared of processed turkey.

What about fast franks seems fresh to you?

The Hellenic Festival
It was expensive and basically just about food - and not even particularly high quality food. I would say you are better off spending the money on a nice greek dinner and reading a book about greece. I wouldn't go again.

Child Labor in the kitchen?

Greek Coffee is mega disgusting compared to Italian. I would never try it again.

Loukoumi (WIKIPEDIA - Loukoumi) - This stuff tastes so good. There was this really amazing rose flavored ones. They are also called Turkish Delight.

Sneak Preview of a Crazy Night
The women stayed for several hours. We were really drunk and decided to add her to the internet so that everyone could share in the enjoyment.

It was well worth the walk over here. It started with the DaVinci code and now a coworkers asked, "Do we believe in god." Where is this gonna go?

Wegmans and blood pressure
While we were there I decided to check out my blood pressure which is normally extremely low. Seemed a little high but I tested it again two minutes later and it was normal. I don't trust that machine but I do want to know why my bloodpressure was like 10-15 points higher than usual. Is it that cholestrol laden protein powder?

Does anyone else go grab a magazine for the checkout adventure? This time I grabbed mobile computing magazine which I paged through with the equivalent passion a suburban fervor teenage girl has for a fashion magazine. "Will I still look nerd trendy enough with my laptop and phone through 2007 or do I need a (insert explicative) model to maintain my geek suave."
In the magazine I saw disney is making cell phones for kids that allow the parents to track the children from their phones. Two words: creepy and cancer. Those kids are gonna have brain tumors the size of lemons by the time they are 15.

Thanks to everyone for coming to the party last night. Who has pictures to post? I think everyone was quite thoroughly inebriated which turned out to be fun. I stayed up with the squireels, (e:robin) and soon to be epeep sarah-paul till about 5am.
Clams taste good at wegmans but these kind freak me the hell out. On eitm ewe were in vacation where they only had these funky clams. It was very dissapointing. I mean I love seafood but these ones remidn me of that Klinmgon dish QAGH (WIKIPEDIA - qagh) - lots of info here -

(e:terry) really wants a passion flower (WIKIPEDIA - passion flower) plants but they are $16.99

Lunches
Besides the walking and beautiful weather it was a waste. The food was really bad, as was the service. The counter girl was kind of nice, but the kitchen dude was kind of a jerk. The atomsphere was ueber tacky and the paneling wasn't even sheik in the 70s.
I didn't even take a picture of the food. My french fries tasted like fish and not in a good way.

It was so pale in comparison to the roswelll lunches. I feel bad that it was so plain the day (e:jenks) visited. The next day, this was the entree.

This morning at work we had a fire alarm that freaked me the hell out. I didn't even breathe because I was so scared of what could be burning in the cell and virology building. The alarm was so loud and scary.

Trip To The Washington Market
Washington Market (362-3181) (MAP TO: 461%20ELLICOTT%20STREET)
Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Yes, it is on Ellicott not Washington St.
On the way back we parked off of high street near Michigan St (Harriet Tubman Way) and there are three empty lots together. One was just knocked down today and looked liek a freshy tilled field. I will try and get a pic this weekend. The old looking farm house but it has all these warning signs saying they sprayed rat toxin (MAP TO: 200%20HIGH%20STREET)
Anyways, how long do you think it will be before parts of the city are completely returned to "nature". That whole area is being knocked down and re-natured, will it raise the property value. Will it become the urban rural? Will Roswell just keep expanding?

There were two interesting products that I did not buy. However, that Washington Market is sensational. I would suggest everyone stop what you are doing and go there right away.
They had some black velvet popcorn
. I would have bought it but I am no longer eating popcorn from bags after the whole cancer scare

Fiji Water
- what the fuck is this about. I mean do we really need water that is imported from Fiji (WIKIPEDIA - fiji) . According to the bottle the sand in fiji filters the water is some special way. I don't believe anything about filtered water. One time (e:terry) and I drove to Poland Springs in Maine and it was a dried up recess in the ground. I bet the same is with Fiji water.

Mother's Day Extravaganza

There was also a variety of new reality Television shows including Shalomn in the Home and some other show about the life of a family of dwarves. You would think the reality televsion bubble has got to burst soon.
I thought last years mother's day had the most food possible (e:paul,3303) but this year she had 5 kinds of meat. I wonder when I look back at the data after world war three what I will think of the excess we have now.
(e:mike) at the dinner table

We ate a lot, then we played games

Banana minus Peel equals eel

This is supposed to be a barber.

Old anger revisited
After looking around last year May on my journal, I realized how much my life has changed for the better. I went from the most unhappy time in my life to being satisiied with just about every aspect. I hope that it makes those of you who are unhappy now realize how much your world can change. I realized I truly hated this time last year and I am so glad those days are over. Nonna died, I had no money, and I didn't get the job that I thoughtwas my dream job. Now I have a job I love so much, awesome coworkers and money to buy a house. I really hate the fact that I doubted the future then.
I blame my unhappiness on working with too many old people whose talent had either dried up or who never had any. Looking back I realize now that Canisius was really holding me back on every level. I guess that is what happens when you work with mediocracy for too long - it just makes you complacent. I truly feel sorry for students that waste their money on that lame digital media program.

Hayes Fish Market
Anyways, the place is also a fried seafood extravaganza. It smelled so yummy. I find it bizarre that my seafood dependent mother had not found this out before or at least not told me. I got the fried shrimp dinner.
