I really liked IronMan 2. It had Scarlet Johansen Oh my she is a bad ass in this movie. It is nice to see her in this type of role. I think Mickey Rouke is great as the bad guy he really is. Lots of action and story and then some funny parts to. Stay through the end credits it sets up another movie like the 1st one did, in other words the ending is after the credits. I can admit I never did read Iron Man as a comic but think the movies are great. Hoping this will spawn people to go out and buy the old comics and catch that verison of the story. If what I have heard is correct at some point their will be an avengers movie or series of movies I should say. I mean the super heros not the British spys (never watched the show or seen the movie based on them).

Buffalo Sat #3Category: elmwood
I did have a good time on my short adventure on Saturday. So back to where I left off I guess. I just wish it was bright out I think it would have made the pictures "Pop" more and would upped the fun level a bit also. But I did run into 4 people I know so that was interesting and I did get to see the Carvings for a cause with out freezing my hands but forgot to go see the one I saw at Grover in the Paper.
I think there has to be something those towers can be used for, yeah I know that aren't as cool looking as like towers in europe but they are pretty nice and it should be used I think.
In Terms of Pano's the pictures below I'm not sure if they really show the point I want to make. (e:MrMike) wrote about how he wants to or is going to add a patio. Now adding one I think is silly. If you look at the grass it doesn't look like there would be much room really. But the other thing is you see those panels they slide open so you have a covered patio when it is nice. Not to mention that would have to be open anyways how would the wait staff get to the patio other wise. Also I have never been to the thirsty Buffalo but their side area looks like a lot of fun.
That day was odd I had a visual or flashback kinda of when that shoefly tent took out (e:Vincent) man that was crazy.
Well that Saturday was interesting we shall see what happens this Sat. I would really like to see Snapcase that show really snuck up on me we shall see then Sunday is Mothers day of course.

They re-did that house shortly after I moved on that street...so 2006. The garden came after; you're probably on target with your guess.

It is on Bryant about a block from Elmwood heading towards Richmond it is on the opposite Corner from Aroma or what Ever the Italian Place is called. I don't know the entire History of that little house but what I do know is that on that Corner their used to be a commuity Garden. So I assume at one time there was a house there. I really don't remember. I guessing a few Years ago is when they started or maybe finished that little house there. I have no idea if someone bought the land or how that all works. I can't remember if (e:ladycroft) lived on that street when the garden was there or if it was the house. The reason I mention that is she may have more info on it then I would based on when it went up (niether of her roomates post here any more so......)
Just wanted to add one other thing about the place across the conrner. It used to be Called Taste of Italy or something like that. Before it closed or got bought or what ever I went once and didn't like it. It wasn't that the food wasn't good. It was one of those fancy places with fancy stuff I don't like, what no plain noodles with plain sauce, what no simple Alfrado sauce, argh. Haven't tried the new place though.......

Glad you liked the Photos. There is one thing that I don't know if I was clear on I only walked one way. What I mean is a caught a bus down to The area around Hoyt Lake and then walked back towrds my house. On the way down those front sliding panel doors at Pano's where open well at least a little bit open.

So Saturday was interesting part 1Category: elmwood
So On Saturday I was hoping it was going to be as nice as Friday but it wasn't but I still had a good time. It was nice to see Carey and Dana briefly, again I said it there so I'll say it here. My mind was kinda some place else and I had no money but I still should have stopped into ETS and said Hello.
Down around the Museums I had some odd flashbacks. There is this part of the hill that in HS when you ran cross country you had the option to go over or around. Then later I had a visual of us leaving a meet and walking down this little pathway. That was odd.
Well here is the beginning of the pictures.
Well Time wis that is about it, hoping for part 2 on wends we shall see.

Yes that would be the house all right. It does look amazing, I can't Imagine what the inside must look like.

I went to Leonardo DaVinci , back then that meant you ran for Grover. I will admit I didn't get to a picture of that yet I was hoping to but ran out of time, so that will be in part 2.

Interesting Sat Part 2Category: elmwood
I was hoping the Japanese Garden would be very nice, it didn't seem ready and there was stuff all over the place, but it has been so long since I'm been there, but even in the rain I had a good time.
So in my previous post I mentioned that I had a Cross Country flashback. Where you see the split in the road is the way we came down the hill. You had the option to run up it and down or run around it. No idea how each person made their choice really. I know I don't remember.
I thought that sign was funny since there is no ice they just leave it attached all year I guess. The Picture of the Albright Knox is interesting in that there is an ambulance up there. So I squatted down and the angle I took it at you can't see it, hence the picture above.
One thing about the rose garden as you can tell taking Flower Pictures is fun. As anyone who is reading this can tell there are people on here who could do a much better job of making the flowers look nice in picture format. One thing I can never really tell or figure out is if it is better to show a bunch of flowers or a close up. Also different flowers are in different states of bloom. Yes I was thinking about that as I was taking the pictures.
Well this is where I have to leave off with my look on Buffalo for a bit. I just have to say that not sure what was up on that Saturday but my mind was someplace else or somewhere I'm not used to being. I haven't been to that Museum since I was a little kid. I only was outside here. But it felt weird. It was like where is Music IS art? It felt odd without stages and places to eat and a DJ area it really was odd and no one around, it was surreal it really was. One thought Did cross my mind, and that was how amazing it would be to Have an MIA VIP pass. That way I could be up on that fenced in area and look at the stages and it would be easy to go from one stage to the other. I think if I could pay for one I would. Hey maybe on facebook I should send MIA and Robby a message about that, or maybe not we shall see. Hope the holiday was well to anyone reading this. Oh yeah that part where it says stuff was often used as a place to stand at MIA.

My Problem with the iphone First of all I have to admit that Yes I Do Want a Cell Phone. But see I don't want it to talk to people. I want it for all the cool things it can do, like text as an example. I want to be at a festival or concert or sports event take a picture then up load it to multiple sites. I think that is what it would be perfect for. What phone I would get I don't know. They all have these plans where you have to commit for years and then what if you don't like the phone or the pictures are crap.
I Like ads that are funny or smart. I have seen a bunch of great ones and see great ones each year. But I have to say because of them I hate the iphone.
1. Apple has always had this "we Are Different and Better and Cooler then You" Vibe and I so see this with the iphone.
2. The apps I have seen lies on those ads. Lets see it is a phone it can't send a box fedex. you need the box and the phone won't print out labels for you.
3. The apps again imply that they do all the work when they don't. They show this one where someone turns off their lights with their phone, um yeah right. The only way that would work is if you had one of those smart houses and then you link that with the phone some how.
What this comes down to when you combine is that Apple is selling you a bill of goods. They make it look like the phone does all this stuff on its own and that all you have to do is push a button. It also makes it look like all this stuff is preloaded on your phone. Um no you have to pay for each app. If any other industry pulled this they would be locked up for fraud. Can you imagine if you bought a car and the rear breaks where extra. What the iphone does is really just a bait and switch or a con if you believe the ad.
But there is another issue with the iphone or any "smart phone" I have that isn't addressed really. They love to show you how much the phone can do. Yeah and it is great that you can be on myspace, twitter and facebook all at once. It is great that you can link all your e-mail and other websites through a facebook log in. It is great that there is all this stuff going on line, and it is great that you can turn on your lights, turn off the alarm and open your garage door all with your phone. You have control of your entire life with your phone. Well that is until you hook up with an ex and they take your phone as you shower and they ruin you life on all the social network. How about when someone steals your phone and takes over your life with it. But see these ads don't tell you the dangers of this or just you setting your phone down and someone who doesn't like you picks it up and starts shit. Hey What I'm saying is that when you walk into a store someone needs to go listen, it is great you can do all this stuff with this phone but just remember when a criminal gets a hold of this phone they can now do everything you could do with it. Hey all I'm saying is that the sellers of this tech or any tech should have to explain the downsides of the tech also.

I know it's not really your point peter, but Apple actually does have a thing where if you lose your iphone, you can erase all your data- so if someone finds it they can't use it. And it keeps a backup, so that if you find it later, you can put it all back. It also shows you on a map where the phone is, using GPS, and can make it beep and say "give me back" or whatever you want it to say.
I hope I'll never have to use it- but I do like knowing it's there.

If the camera on the phone was good enough so when the picture was printed out it looked good then it might take the place of my camera, well except for snow and rain and stuff like that cause the waterproof camera is great for that stuff.
I am going to someday hopefully soon look into the phone thing. But not sure if it is really worth it though? But it would be nice.
In terms of phone loss. Here is what I'm thinking about. After I joined facebook Yahoo has something where you can link it to facebook and someother sites do the same thing where if you like something it sends it to your facebook page (if you are signed in). Certain web browsers ask if you want them to remember your password. If you say yes then any site with that option you are no longer you there. Hopefully sites like with loans and credit card info and bank pages, people are smart enough so that the device won't remember that. But I don't think most people think about what if someone steals this phone or I drop it at a bar or whatever. The possibility of what could happen is worse then your wallet I think because of how quickly things could happen over the internet.
Am I saying there should be a federal law, well maybe. There should be at least a practice in "The Tech" world that when someone is about to buy (as an example) an iphone that they are told by the person selling it about secruity. Is anyone going to read that pamphlet. Maybe it could be part of the instructions not sure really.

Well - you don't really need to get an iphone. There are plenty of other devices in the market (nudge nudge Google phones. :-)) Plus, I am finding out that I don't even need a dataplan to do half the cool things I can do with my google phone. I don't do extensive social networking etc, but use the phone for occasional email checking (it works without a data plan - if you are near any wifi somewhere).
I have not used my camera since I got the phone. I am not always logged in to my email so if ever my phone gets stolen, I will lose the phone itself (sad) but not get all my details stolen because I don't have them on there (because I am not logged in and clear the cache periodically). The big picture is that having your phone stolen is like having your wallet stolen, you run the risk of identity theft in both cases.
