God Damn

Ah say god damn...what's been goin' on?

I heard this tune on the radio today and it took me 45 minutes but I finally located it on ym jukebox. Don't you hate that - when you can't remember the name of the song so you can hear it again?? Well I thought I would take a few minutes, check-in and post it for everyone to enjoy.

I miss the days of being able to visit someone's journal and having their music blast you.

I'm pretty sure I'm throwing a party next Sunday. It's gonna be a corn roast, which I know is a hair early for homegrown but I think this weekend will be one of my last off before I have to go back to work. My culinary hiatus is just about to end.

My parties are the shit, though, but I think most of my friends just come for the food.

Well that's all for me. This summer has been non-stop....

God Damn I love it, MrDT

Impromtu Pool Party

The house is clean, everythings nice and organized, the pool is about to be vacuumed.

My friends may be stopping over later to cook up some grub and jump in the pool.

My philosophy is the more the merrier so I would like to take the opportunity and invite you all as well.

If you're tired of being hot and sweaty - swing on down. All are welcome.

We will be starting a fire at 10:00pm to make some s'mores and probably wrap things up around 1:00am.

Love ya, MrDT

Thank God it's Over

Wow what a ruff couple of days. I don't think I've had a good night sleep in such a while. Why does it always get hectic and stressful around deadlines and finals??? Oh that's right, I'm Bart Simpson the classic underachiever and procrastinator...Yeah right an monkeys might fly out my butt...

Everything is a mess today, there was so much material to be studied, I mean memorize and so many figures to interpret, in these last five weeks. I don't know how I cramed it all in. Sometimes I think the teachers are testing to see how well you memorized some formulas not how you are applying them. There's something missing in the testing/grading system that I can't quite put my finger on. You know what's kinda funny though, I gave it a C and B- effort but I'll probably get a B and an A- respectively. I coulda worked way harder from the start an absoulely memorized everything, which, about 75% of, will be different when I'm on the job using it.

Accounting final today...and guess who doesn't show up. That's right, the girl I've been waiting my whole life for. now gone forever unless by some chance we happen to have another class together. Or atleast that's how the romance never begins in my life, I guess that's better than the way it ends - tragically. I just want to say to her, "girl you with out me is like Harold Melvin without the Blue Notes. You'll never go platinum." hahaha, I kill me.

Speaking of which I'm hoping your enjoying my user sound. That's Teddy Pendergrass on the lead vocals of Don't Leave Me This Way by none other than Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.

My shit is fucked up right now. And what I mean by shit is my pseudo-office/bedroom/war room. My keyboard tray took a shit this week from that fuckin kid that was staying here a year ago for nothin. the guy was stayin with me so he's not on the street... but one night he was jerkin off at my station and hit the tray so it jammed the sliding drawer and then started reefin on it. well I fixed it a couple a weeks ago but it shit the bed again. I hope I can find a new slide thingy at Home Depot or something. And maybe I'll head to Bed, Bath and Beyond...but I don't know if we'll have enough time... (television and movie references everywhere, can you tell I'm addicted to going boxes of entertainment).

Here are some pictures of my current mess and the broken drawer.

Some cups for protein shakes and H2O. That's what we did in the desert, we trained and we hydrated.

image
What every student needs: deodorant, a dozen pencils, a few wasted trees, tissues and a soft bed with high thread count sheets and lots of pillows for reading case studies and textbooks

image
Oh and you can't forget these bowls for cereal and bowls for bubbles. Man, how'd that one get in there???

image
Inconspicuous shot of myself...

image
Inconspicuous shot of myself in the spirit of (e:paul) , a good shot of the upper arm showing some seperation from the deltoid. More peak now!!! Yeah right in a calorie deficient I have a hard time getting my gym energy up. Good bye 70# dumbells for a few weeks (I hope).

Speaking of, I finally made it to the gym today for a one hour total upper body workout. Hooray, it's good to get this shit out of the way so I can get back to my regularly scheduled life. Less than one year... 7 more classes togo...are you with me???? why am I shouting????

Okay in the true spirit of (e:strip) I would like to post a picture of a horrible atrocity.

Warning not for the Faint of Heart:

image

These are my shitty ass working conditions. And that is my boss's hairy ass crack.

Will somebody please give me a good shake. I'm classically trained with an almost MBA for chrissake.

All right, I'm clearin' the bed and goin to sleep. Tomorrow I work, Saturday I drive to the CIA with a suspended Driver's License, as if I didn't learn my lession the first 9 Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle misdemeanor charges, and Sunday, hopefully, NYC to watch The Who live in Holland Park at the Hard Rock - Times Square (not that this is really my favorite area). For those of you who like The WHo, you can stream it live on your systems for .99 cents . I've got an alright set-up for my tunes/digital movies at home but nothin beats the Ampaged at the HRC.

Enjoy the picks I promise I'll clean up real nice......WHen I come home. Well, I did do the entire downstairs on Saturday sparkling fresh.

Okay, Here it is...

Reading through these I have to say was a little boring. And mine ain't much better:

1. How did you find out about/why did you become of estrip?
I was doing a Google search for OPM's Dj line up/schedule and I happened upon a link that described massive boobs. I hit the link and it took my to (e:jenks) pics and post about a ladies night of bowling and dancing. I made my way through some prevocative pictures of certain members and was like, I'm in!

2. How "out" are you about having a publicly accessible online journal. Do your friends know? Does your family know? Do your co-workers know? Does your boss know? Do you use your real name? Do you use your real photo?
I show people from time to time but it seems as if nobody cares because it's not myspace.
My brother knows and he says y'all are off your meds.
My co-workers know but they never visit. (Thank God).
My boss knows cause one time he had his dirty ass crack hangin out and I took a picture of it with my phone, threatening to put it up here.
3. How many epeeps have you met real life?
a few

4. How has estrip changed the way that you meet people, on and/or off line?
well, sometimes I meet people out for sushi with plans made through the chat.

5. How has estrip affected you love life?
Sort of... I have more people now that I love and care about...

6. How many of your friends have joined estrip because of your influence?
Nobody and if they did I couldn't vent about what a montley crue we are.

7. Are you from Buffalo/do you live in Buffalo?
I'm from all over the Buffalo/Niagara region spending time all over this great area.

Equipment:
1. What type of hardware or software purchases have you made as a result of using estrip?
Purchase software, who does that. I have shared some software and data files.

2. Have you used the mobile version of estrip? Why or why not?
I can't afford to go online with my phone. Not to mention it's mad old... Although I have a one gigabyte sansdisk (not flash) and headphones making my phone an itunes phone before that hole thing was thought up.

Lifestyle:
1. In what way has estrip changed your Internet surfings habits? Describe the amount of time you spend on estrip, when you use it and about how long?
I always check (e:strip) after my (e:mail) but sometimes I just check my google home page for interesting journal entries. Not as much as in the begginning...I noticed I was developing an addiction so I weaned myself off the site and imposed some restrictions.

1a. How many journals do you usually read per day?
Most of the days post.

2. In what ways has estrip changed the way you perceive your local community?
Not really at all.

3. How has journaling about your life affected the way you spend your free time?
I try to make time to type in some reflections from the day. Usually my posts take about half hour to forty five minutes.

4. Has estrip changed your living situation in any way?
Nope.

5. Do you find that you mediate/document more of your experiences now that you share them with others?
SOmetimes..but sometimes I like to keep things to myself. I like having my life story out there

6. Has publishing on estrip affected the way that write?
Probably, I'm more conscious of my writing style. but most of the time I'm so obliterated by the time I log on and go with my remaining limited faculties.

7. Do you have other online journals? If so, with what service and has estrip affected your usage of that journal?
No.

8. Have you ever gotten in trouble for using estrip at work?
The shithole I work in doesn't have a computer let alone an internet connection

9. If you have stopped using estrip, why?
I have many projects and homework to do for school so I don't write everyday anymore. Not to mention the weather has been fuckin gorgeous so I'm never inside.

Phew, love it, Mrdt

Listen to the Dalai Lama

Carl Spackler (Bill Murray): So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock.

So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver.

He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga.

So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me.
And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know."

And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness."

So I got that goin' for me, which is nice!

Have to Write Something

A year ago I was squatting on my third set a 135#'s for twelve reps, yesterday on my fourth set I squatted 255#'s for eight reps. It's safe to say my legs are getting strong. But what the fuck is the deal with my upperbody? The other day I made it up to the 65# dumbbells for 6 on my third set of a flat bench press, which is about 25#s heavier than last year. I think I should try to work those upper muscle groups twice a week for a shorter but more intense workout.

Even though I'm somewhat in a calorie restriciton I'm still gaining muscle which is good to see. Over the past four weeks I've been able to gain 1.5#'s shedding 7.63#'s of fat while losing 6.5#'s overall. 14 more weeks to go from Monday, and 2 weeks until I begin the 2006 Body for Life Challenge.

I just got an e-mail from my buddy who is loaning me his bike for the Tour de Cure and I guess it's on so I will be continuing to collect pledges. Iif you want to donate or pledge for my ride let me know. I think I'm well conditioned for the 33 miler but I'm still debating the 66 miler (which could turn into a 4-5 hour ride if at any point during the first two hours I get pooped). But you never know, I've been warning people that I may double their expected pledge, although it doesn't seem to bother people because it's for a really good cause.

All right that's it. everythings going pretty good... the weather's been great, I feel great...I'm doin kind of shitty in managerial accounting (c-ish) but so far I'm in the high A range for statisitcs. Which is the exact opposite of my scores in undergrad. But I got a little outdoor office setup on my deck under the big umbrella so I can enoy the weather/pool day or night so I can study hard and not have to be stuck in the house.

I think I'm goin to Hyde Park, NY then NYC for the first weekend in July. Should be a good time.

I've been gettin really stoned lately and I think it's time to back off for a while (but the white diamonds are back). Case in point I had to open the spell check to figure out how to spell "little." Not-to-mention the laziness that it brings when you can't coherently do anything but drool down yourself.

But anyway, I heard this tune on the oldies station and felt, well, old. What is a tune from the eighties doing on oldies 104?? So I'm putting it up their for you'll to listen to and feel better. Now, get outside, get some exercise and if you need someone to show you how to take care of your bike, holla!!!

It's time to feel good.

Love, MrDT

69 dude

It's times like these that I am reminded of Bill & Ted and when that movie came out I had no idea what 69 meant. I really didn't uinderstand the full meaning of it til me and my ex got extremely passionate and just rolled around the bed grasping each other very tightly while giving the other a lot of pleasure. I can now distinguish the true side by side 69 as oppossed to bottom/top 69, which is more of a yin-yang.

But anyway, I'm watching the Girl Next Door on the split screen and I think Eliisha Cuthbert, also star of of the now Fox hit 24, is one of the hottest women of the world. So in honor of my 69th post I would like to present you with pictures of Elisha, a women I would like to 69!!!

It's in the Numbers

I've been going over a few of the calculations I made when I started lifting and eating better through the numbers I took yesterday and I'm pretty happy. I've done them with a trainer but I think the Omron hand held body fat analyzer has to be a little off.

To throw a few numbers at you:
On March 22, 2005 I was about 215#'s and at an unknown body fat level. I estimate around 28-30%.

Over the next six months I participated in two back-to-back Body for Life 12 week challenges. And as of October 1st I was 169#'s at 13% Body fat.

Yesterday (Friday June 2nd) I hopped on the scale at 209#'s and measure 20.2% body fat. Last Monday (a week & a half ago) when I started a sixteen week body fat shedding cycle I weighed in at 213 and 22.1% body fat.

So to throw a few more numbers at you:

209 @ 20.2% body fat =42.22 #'s of fat or 209-42.22=166.78 lean
169 @ 13% body fat = 21.97 #'s of fat or 169-21.97=147.03 lean

If I subtract my past lean body mass from my present I come up with how many pounds of Muscle I put om from Oct. 1st to June 2nd, roughly 8 months:

166.78
147.03
19.75 #'s of muscle

Holy impressive batman!!! 19.75#'s/8 months= 2.47#'s of muscle per month. That can't be right, though. Everything I read would contradict those types of results. But you never know. if you look at my initial numbers you'll see over my first six months as I lost weight I compromised quite a bit of muscle, which is why I wasn't successful. So I believe I gained this muscle back quickly as I started eating my maintence calories again. Due to the innaccuracy of the body fat analyzer I used, about 4 of those #'s of muscle don't exist and another. And the rest I would say I put on threw proper nutrition, proper supplementation, hard consistent training and a routine that continued to evolve improve and change.

As far as my goals go, at the end of the next 14 weeks I want to be at a body fat percentage of 10%, a tough goal my trainer insists.

If you take my lean mass and divide it by 10%
166.78=10%*(x)
x=16.678
And add that to my mass:
166.78+16.678=183.458 or GOAL WEIGHT
209 - 183.46 = 25.52 #'s of fat I need to shed

This is such an important number to know because if try I just try to lose 25 #'s I could compromise muscle and once that starts to happen it gets harder to shed body fat. Not only that but now I can take the numbers and breakdown to the day the number of calories I should be eating. Fun isn't it??

So anyway, here I go again. and remember I'm always here for those who need a little push into the right direction.

Love yourselves as I do, MrDT
