Little Rock CityCategory: hiking
We went back to little rock city. This time we got totally crazy and were jumping between rocks with 20ft+ drops. At one point we were able to jump between 3 rocks. I wish (e:jacob) could have been there. He would have loved it.
(e:terry) is insane. I will try and climb just about an

Below is a major dropoff like 40+ feet down

Sadly, this time we found a clean cut area

(e:keith) jumping to the second rock. I am so sad that this video is sideways. Someday I should edit and rotate it. I tried to compile ffmpeg to enable the vfilter rotation option but it did not work.
trying to convince Casey to jump.

(e:keithT) posing as a tough guy

I tracked our whole journey on google's My Tracks. I wanted to be able to return to the part I was too afraid to jump on.
The rest are caseys photos from (e:keithT)'s facebook.

Real Iron Work on 219 Near SpringvilleCategory: art
I am not sure what the name really is but I thought "Real Iron Work" based on the sign below. I should have snagged the location but I forgot.
On our way back to Little Rock City yesterday we stopped at that iron works gallery on the 219. They have some pretty awesome pieces. I wonder if the Griffis inspired them, or if they are the same people.

I want the tree house so bad. I always wanted a tree house but our yard has no tree house sized tree. I never considered building one.

I guess they like turles and tortoises too.

Very cool. I wish my mind worked in such creative ways instead of going about in circles in the muck of the mundane.

My love/hate of scenic boys blogCategory: web
Caution with the link, it contains some non-sexual nudity but also a ton of awesome hiking pics and videos from the west coast more non-nude than nude.
Every once in a while I go back to
and check out their latest adventures. They seem to always put mine to shame. Recently, they got back from Burning Man. I am entirely jealous. They remind me of the (e:Terry) and I from our pre-buffalo days but somehow they got a bunch of friends to join them on their adventures. Living on the west coast gives them such a tremendous advantage with adventure options.

That pic is from their adventure in may

Blind worship of AppleCategory: computers
PC mag has this article showing the new update to the iphone seems to slow it down more
(e:matthew)'s iphone 3g has major speed issues since he first upgraded to iOS 4 so I was curious about the results of the latest update. Regardless of the test results being accurate or not, its comments like this that make me question the sanity of apple fanatics.
Really joe? You think a phone that takes 60 seconds to check a text message ( a key phone function) is the best game in town. Sounds like you haven't shopped around very much.

I've had my 2g since 1.0 and it gets slower with each update. Just yesterday I was telling my wife it took like 60 seconds to check a received text message.
With that said the iphone is by far still the best game in town.

But you are missing the little name tag, This gives me an idea. You should walk around like this but with a book that isn't theirs or maybe , even have like multple realigous books or something wacky
I would cross the street to be on the same side. haha
Did anyone cross the street to avoid you?
Not really. They don't have the sexy ooze that you obviously do.
The Mormon missionary look is tres chic this season.
Ah! The facial hair would have to go ;)
Where's your bike Elder Visco?
Haha, totally the Mormon missionary look. Get you a Book of Mormon to carry around and you're set!
