more baby pix. :)Even more amazing than the baby cuteness is the fact that my technophobe mother took these pix on her phone, and emailed them to me.

I think I'm seriously going to start a company making cozy adult baby pajama/leisure outfits. I would totally snuggle up in that job and play video games on my sofa. Maybe I need to enhance my sewing skills and come up with some samples....

That sounds like a lot but not sure if it is or not. I just hope you are doing this the healthy way and not the unhealthy way (I'm guessing you are doing it the healthy way, what ever that is).

Well it is a lot of pounds (hence the woohoo)- but for most people it's actually a pretty reasonable goal. And a lot of studies have shown that losing just 10% can make a big difference in diabetes risk etc etc.

10% would be a lot of pounds for me, but frankly, I could stand to lose that much.

Three things1: I just saw (e:MK) on the news!!!
2: I just made this and it's super delicious (though I used 4x the recommended amount of red pepper flakes. And a splash of Franks):
Ingredients
1 spray(s) cooking spray
1 medium onion(s), finely chopped
4 medium garlic clove(s), minced
45 oz canned black beans, undrained, divided (three 15 oz cans)
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste (MORE MORE MORE!)
1 tsp ground cumin
14 1/2 oz fat-free chicken broth, or vegetable broth
10 oz canned tomatoes with green chilies, such as Rotel Tomatoes
11 oz canned yellow corn, drained
Instructions
Coat bottom of a large stockpot with cooking spray. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until onions are soft but not brown, about 5 minutes.
Place one can of beans in blender; add sautéed onion mixture, red pepper flakes and cumin. Cover and blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour mixture back into stockpot.
Place second can of beans and broth in blender and puree until smooth; add to stockpot.
Stir third can of beans (do not puree first), tomatoes and green chilies, and corn into stockpot. Bring to a boil, lower heat to medium and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Yields about 1 1/2 cups of soup per serving.
3: I got my dad a digital picture frame for his bday, and am enjoying loading it up for him. Found some new pix that my mom was apparently hiding from me:

1. Why was (e:mk) on the news
2. I get the idea of a digital frame and think it is a cool idea, but not my thing
3. Wow great picture of the Noam on the dog and being carried around (not a dunce cap).
