Bandits Ad kindaCategory: lax
So on Saturday I'm going to see the Bandits playoff game. It should be very good. The winner is the Eastern Champions and will go onto to the championship game. I think that game will be on ESPN2. Maybe if the day is nice I will go down to the marina in the morning but I'm not sure. There is supposed some tall boat with some removing of beer from it in period costumes so we shall see. Hope everyone has a great weekend and nice mothers day.

Buffalo and BanditsCategory: photos
On Friday the Bandits beat the wings and advanced to the next round of the playoffs, Lets go Bandits!! They didn't start out to good but they won in the end so. I went to TGIF before the game and had a good time. Before the game and before Avenue Q I took some pictures of Buffalo these have been altered to hopefully show up.

Hopefully those pictures look pretty nice. As I said earlier the Bandits did win and so I was happy so I'm going to the game on Saturday here are some random pictures from the game that just passed.

I didn't want to put up to many and bore anyone who read this. There are two pictures that I forgot to put up that I found interesting on Elmwood some people may know where this is.

It is the window of Hodge Liquar on Elmwood.

Those robot people are freaky. Mike and I saw them the last time we were there. Some lady gave us some P.Diddy vodka samples. Nice pics. Do you have a panoramic setting or something? How did you get those pics so long?

Street Kings Iron ManCategory: movies
Today I got to see two pretty good action movies. The first one was street kings. Hey how can you not go see a movie with dirty cops in it. It was not like training day to me at all really. I thought it was very good and it was nice to see that there was a plot. At the same time as it had a plot it was still nice and violent. I thought Forrest Whitacer, Hugh Lourie, Jay Mohr (ok and funny man but great actor, or maybe I just like him) and Kenu Reves (stright acting no accent of where he is from) all did a great job. Also Common formaly known as Common Sense played a good small part also. For those who may not know there was some music group that had the rights to the name so sense got dropped. But see that worked out good because in credits and tittles Common sound and looks better and is clearer then Common Sense so do to him also acting I think he for his movies would have droped sense anyways. I tried this Pizza with the movie that was pretty good and made the movie that much better.
Before both movies they had an add for a special event coming of DeathNote. I will admit that I like the show but didn't know there was a movie I'm going to have to see if I can get to that. The second movie of the day way Iron Man. With out giving anything away it was really good. I can't say if it was true to the Comic Book or not since I never read it. That being said there was a lot of great action with kick ass music in the background. I pretty much posted the same thing on 2 other social networking sites but there where two things that I didn't say there and the big one is because I forgot to mention one of them. The thing with "Comic Book Movies" is that to be good they have to have that great story telling along with the action and that balance can be tough sometimes. I thought they did a great job here and thought it was really good, plus the place was pretty packed. When I use the term monkey here it isn't a slur based on race or at least it isn't supposed to be. But when the credits rolled you should have seen the mass exodus of the monkeys from the film. It was nice to see some people who understand that it takes people to make the movies or maybe they just wanted to see what the music or maybe they wanted to see the end of the movie. For those who read comic books, watch comic TV shows or are Haseloff fans you may know what happens after the credits but it wasn't Haseloff who will appear it is a much better actor. If you paid attention during the movie there was some foreshadowing to this but I didn't catch it. Oh yeah and the 2nd thing (e:tinypliny) it was nice to run into you on the way home, I hope all that produce winds up tasting very good.

Avenue Q So last night I went to see Avenue Q. My seats where good I was about a row or two in front of where the balcony starts and pretty close to center. I thought it was good. I also thought it was funny. With out giving any thing away really it was cool to walk in and have music playing. The one odd thing was that Gary Coleman was played by a lady. But that being said she was very good. It is part of the musical but one thing that was tough to get used to was some people where people and not puppets. It was still pretty cool and I liked how sometimes the people would make some really cool faces. All in all it was pretty good.

I would advise people to see it if they can. I'm sure there are still some open seats plus they have two shows on Sunday. I wish I could say more about it but I don't want to give anything away. I'll say this I like the little friends I wish they sold them as stuffed animals I would have bought them. The Asian girl is pretty good. I guess the most famous song is the racist song but there is one about being gay that is pretty good.

weekend and weekend. So on Saturday the Bandits won and I had A good time. I really don't feel like posting pictures really. There next game is on Friday and is a home Playoff game. I also saw the new Harold and Kumar movie on Saturday. I liked it but not as much as the 1st one but maybe it is just because they showed so much of it in the previews. Tuesday I'm looking forward to seeing Avenue Q , I'm hoping it is very good.

I want to go to the championship but it's my aunt's birthday party that night!!! Damnit!!
Quick Blog Update:
The Bandits won and will Play for the NLL Championship at home Vs. The Portland Lumberjax on Saturday at 7:30 pm, but if you go you will want to get there before game time. According to Nll.com The game will be shown live in Canada on the score network and they will have an Annoucement about US coverage soon. What that will be I don't know.
Alexander Keiths beer thing at the marina was fun yesterday. Yeah the tall ship was cool and the Wenches outfits where nice to. I don't really like beer but the kind I had was good, or maybe since it was free I liked it. I was late so I didn't make the news nor did I see them bring out the Kegs. I guess it is a Beer from Canada and it is new to the area but you can only get it at bars and not in stores.
Hopefully after mothers day, have a happy one by the way I will do a more detailed picture post of both things. If you are reading this and haven't read (e:drew)'s post about mothers day you should that link is pretty interesting.
I was at that game too peter. But I'm pissed b/c we were in line to get our tickets checked when david was piping, so I missed him. :(
Do you know when the championship game is? Is it going to be here?
