cooperfield and more
First of all I was going to post bandits pictures from the last game I went to but ran out of time so

That should also take you to a page where you can see all my pictures from the tall ship beer fest thing. I'm really looking forward to the championship game on Saturday. It has been 12 years since they won one. Yes they have been to two championship games in the past few years but they lost one at home that was depressing cause they where the better team I don't care what anyone says but they didn't play like it and they lost away, might have been on TV so I really hope they can win. I decided screw it I'm poor anyways I might as well get David Cooperfield tickets for Thursday. Should be a good time, it has been along time since I've seen him. Hopefully I'll put up some Tonawanda pictures up on Tuesday and then maybe some bonus Bandettes pictures.

Have you seen this magician's show before? Is it worth it? (Thinking of going with my brother, who is visiting this weekend).

Beer ship Marina
Category: photos
So as I updated my last journal I mentioned that On saturday I went down to the Marina to see The tall ship and to try some beer. There are pictures in the Buffalo News and there is some video on the TV news and I have to admit one of the pictures on the picture page is really good. I got there late so there wasn't all the bag pipers at the ship but I still saw it. From my understand Alexander Keith's is beer from Canada and you can only get it in bars. I don't really like beer but I thought it was good or maybe it being free helped with the taste it was a nice day out. That being said there where also a lot of hot ladies out and about that day. Here are the Pictures.

I wind up going to a different waterfront today down my Niawanda park. It could have been warmer but those photos will get put up soon I just don't have enough time right now to post them. Hope everyone had a great mothers day and a great weekend oh yeah then I have Bandits pictures to post also sounds like I still have more internet stuff to do. Ok here comes the working week again, argh.

So I forgot this one up there Hey you gotta love those outfits. Oh yeah and the Gordon Highlanders where pretty cool also. I just wanted to add that sometimes it is tough to know what pictures to put up and what ones not to hope if anyone is still reading this that they enjoyed them.

The funny thing about those out fits is that they don't show that very much skin but the boots are hot. It could be that the way the outfits are worn some times really show off the boobs and when they hang over the leather. But those costumes are still pretty nice. It was a good time. I just wish I got there so I could have seen the ship dock and the band play by it and then follow and ate more food. But still a good time and great weather.
tinypliny - 05/11/08 22:25
Wow. Thanks so much for the pictures! Loved them! It was really a beautiful day yesterday.
I like the costumes as well! :)

libertad - 05/11/08 19:20
So you like the wenches? ;) I wanted to go to that but was doing something else. Glad you got to go.

Bandits Ad kinda
Category: lax
So on Saturday I'm going to see the Bandits playoff game. It should be very good. The winner is the Eastern Champions and will go onto to the championship game. I think that game will be on ESPN2. Maybe if the day is nice I will go down to the marina in the morning but I'm not sure. There is supposed some tall boat with some removing of beer from it in period costumes so we shall see. Hope everyone has a great weekend and nice mothers day.

I want to go to the championship but it's my aunt's birthday party that night!!! Damnit!!

Quick Blog Update:
The Bandits won and will Play for the NLL Championship at home Vs. The Portland Lumberjax on Saturday at 7:30 pm, but if you go you will want to get there before game time. According to Nll.com The game will be shown live in Canada on the score network and they will have an Annoucement about US coverage soon. What that will be I don't know.

Alexander Keiths beer thing at the marina was fun yesterday. Yeah the tall ship was cool and the Wenches outfits where nice to. I don't really like beer but the kind I had was good, or maybe since it was free I liked it. I was late so I didn't make the news nor did I see them bring out the Kegs. I guess it is a Beer from Canada and it is new to the area but you can only get it at bars and not in stores.

Hopefully after mothers day, have a happy one by the way I will do a more detailed picture post of both things. If you are reading this and haven't read (e:drew)'s post about mothers day you should that link is pretty interesting.

I was at that game too peter. But I'm pissed b/c we were in line to get our tickets checked when david was piping, so I missed him. :(
Do you know when the championship game is? Is it going to be here?

Those robot people are freaky. Mike and I saw them the last time we were there. Some lady gave us some P.Diddy vodka samples. Nice pics. Do you have a panoramic setting or something? How did you get those pics so long?

Street Kings Iron Man
Category: movies
Today I got to see two pretty good action movies. The first one was street kings. Hey how can you not go see a movie with dirty cops in it. It was not like training day to me at all really. I thought it was very good and it was nice to see that there was a plot. At the same time as it had a plot it was still nice and violent. I thought Forrest Whitacer, Hugh Lourie, Jay Mohr (ok and funny man but great actor, or maybe I just like him) and Kenu Reves (stright acting no accent of where he is from) all did a great job. Also Common formaly known as Common Sense played a good small part also. For those who may not know there was some music group that had the rights to the name so sense got dropped. But see that worked out good because in credits and tittles Common sound and looks better and is clearer then Common Sense so do to him also acting I think he for his movies would have droped sense anyways. I tried this Pizza with the movie that was pretty good and made the movie that much better.

Before both movies they had an add for a special event coming of DeathNote. I will admit that I like the show but didn't know there was a movie I'm going to have to see if I can get to that. The second movie of the day way Iron Man. With out giving anything away it was really good. I can't say if it was true to the Comic Book or not since I never read it. That being said there was a lot of great action with kick ass music in the background. I pretty much posted the same thing on 2 other social networking sites but there where two things that I didn't say there and the big one is because I forgot to mention one of them. The thing with "Comic Book Movies" is that to be good they have to have that great story telling along with the action and that balance can be tough sometimes. I thought they did a great job here and thought it was really good, plus the place was pretty packed. When I use the term monkey here it isn't a slur based on race or at least it isn't supposed to be. But when the credits rolled you should have seen the mass exodus of the monkeys from the film. It was nice to see some people who understand that it takes people to make the movies or maybe they just wanted to see what the music or maybe they wanted to see the end of the movie. For those who read comic books, watch comic TV shows or are Haseloff fans you may know what happens after the credits but it wasn't Haseloff who will appear it is a much better actor. If you paid attention during the movie there was some foreshadowing to this but I didn't catch it. Oh yeah and the 2nd thing (e:tinypliny) it was nice to run into you on the way home, I hope all that produce winds up tasting very good.

tinypliny - 05/04/08 10:23
Wait, there is a bloke formerly called "Common Sense" who changed his name to "Common"??!!

PS: Hehehe... I am hoping none of the farmload I wheeled home rots.
