Today we went to the block club meeting for the Linwood neighborhood block club. It was interesting to see the many types of people that live in our neighborhood. They were planning the Linwood Home tour which is raising money for the gateway to the neighborhood.
We had Judge Novak come to visit and we talked about neighborhood problems. The whole time I couldn't help but think how ridiculous our problems are compared to some Buffalo neighborhoods in dire straights.
One house really does stand out though. I think the address is 358 Linwood, the gray house on the 400 block on the Delaware side. It is definitely a sketchy rooming house I have been offered drugs there when walking buy many time which is extra sketchy for such a residential block. I hope they do end up taking care of it.
He did make a good point explaining that our neighborhood, along with Allentown, the Elmwood Village, Parkside and Delaware District pay the the highest taxes around funding many of our city services. If our prices dropped because people started doing thing like installing vinyl siding (one of the issues) then Buffalo would lose tax money - so he takes it very seriously.
Overall, my only complaints are with the Church of the Ascension's trash they gets all over our lawn from their numerous overfilled trash bins that get left out for a week at a time. Unfortunately, I couldn't really discuss it because they were holding the meeting at the church, lol.
Advertisements for the Linwood Home tour are cheap. I think that I will go ahead and get a $100 full page one for estrip? The proceeds go to the gateway fund. It seems like such a steal for something that ~1000 people will see. Last time they had 800. Plus when was the last time I got to design something for print.
This lactose intollerance was such bullshit looking back or maybe you can just have it temporarily. I was not lactose intollerant at all. I went six whole months with no dairy at all until I decided to try it and had no problem. I can't tell you how much cheese and dairy I eat nowadays with no problems at all and no lactase.
the one we saw had redish hair... she was alright... i'm not into redheads much though...
I see he there a lot , she has long strawberry blond and the most beautiful eyes. I only go there in the evening and I see her then, so maybe she works evening shift.
We didn't see a Kaitlyn. Saw a Kate, and wondered if you were talking about her.

That's cool, Paul. I'm happy for you - glad that your body is behaving itself again.
you're starting to sound a lot like me! this was the hard part - eating practically nothing and slowly introducing new food. my food allergy tests helped a lot too. 5 years down the road you will hardly think on it :) i'm glad you're feeling better!
You and Matthew should have a big wheat party next week!
