VERY FUNNY UPS!So, UPS says I wasn't here to sign for the package this AM when I specifically took off work to be here.
I bet there was a garbage truck on our street at the same time and the driver just said fuck it and went on to the next block.

That is to bad, I wish I had pull enough to make that not happen but I don't. I have no power with them I'm just one of the people that processes packages that go UPS at work.

ugh, I HATE when they pull that crap!!
I've had the exact same thing happen.
And I've had them actually come when I'm HOME WAITING FOR THEM, and then they just don't ring the doorbell and leave the sticker that they attempted but no one was home.
I have also put my signature on file with them like 10 times so they can leave a package without a sig so I don't have to take off work to be home (since that's just not an option)- and they still leave the 'no one home to sign' love notes.
Apple is especially bad about insisting on a sig.

First of all was there a thing left on your door? If it was on your door then you know they where there. I my self had never had a problem with them but I don't order much stuff. I can't order stuff to my house because if you leave something on a step that leads to a door and that door is locked and goes to the hall then the package disapears. If your house is secure you can set up so you don't have to sign. I don't know how to do it but you can also have them deliver some place else. A lot of people have things delivered to where they work. That is not all ways an option but it is a good way to not have to take off work. depending on the package sometimes they will drop it off next door but with a high end item they may not do that.

Can't be worse than DHL. They sent me an "overnight" part 4 weeks late.
It did arrive in the AM, just 4 weeks after I ordered it. It appears that don't specify which night they ship over for "overnight" shipping.

I did have one idea that might work but not sure again that 8 letter thing makes a lot of stuff not work. Maybe you could base what you wanted them to say on what the party was. I do think that staying with some form of (e:strip) is a good idea, wish I was more help.
Community is slightly too long, and unfortunately we can't do user names because we only get 4 lines total.
Does Internet Community when I spell it out it looks to long but when I counted it out it worked. Not to throw more things at you but to bad you couldn't get all the (e:peeps) names on one (some are two long) but maybe all the ones of peoples names who fit. Here are two more Ideas since what ever party it is will be at (e:pmt)'s that might be and Idea or maybe "The 24" or maybe even (e:Linwood) again these are just a few ideas maybe some other people will have some good ones.
I was going to get the standard 5-color mix, but there are a bunch of different possibilities.
how about using the word BUM instead?
And can't you choose which colors to use also?
