Putting Stuff on Youtube
Category: art
After programming today, I was going through an old hardrive with my ten thousand art projects and misc stuff on them and found some of the video files were 0k. Argh, I was so mad, so I decided to take some of the video that I have already put on the web or on other harddrives and put it on youtube too. That way hopefully, one place or another it will exist.

Okay this is so fuckin rediculous that I can't even believe I did it. I remember I ran out of time to video edit at school so I was left with windows movie maker at work. It sucks so bad, but now it is kind of funny looking back. All the movements and stuff were scripted. If only I had a mac during that phase ;( but that was after the powerbook died.

I also foudn lots of video we took documenting our life and about 10,000 more pictures to add to my 1,000,000 pictures. Back in 1999-2000 (e:terry) , (e:jacob) , and I took this crazy trip from flagstaff, AZ to Vancouver and then across Canada back to Buffalo. I wrote about it lots of times and all the crazy shit that happend but now I lost half the video thanks to a harddrive failure. I am so mad. At least this half will exists on youtube.

I am now going to go crazy trying to find everything else.

Thanks and Accordians
Category: estrip
I would like to thank (e:tinypliny) and (e:imk2) for their donation to the site last month. I hadn't logged into the account until today and noticed. If anybody else ever wants to donate, just click the donate link to the right of the latest entries list. It works with paypal.

On another note, my surebert accordian menu worked out great. It works on my nokia n800, terry powerPC mac, my macbook, IE 6 on windows, and in firefox. I bet it even works on the iphone - although how does the iphone handle mouseover. Anyways, it can be switched to work on mousedown instead. I am sure I will find a use for it here on estrip soon. I wish it was like the old days when I could program estrip 24/7.

Notice the surebert color picker widget in the one section. That should be easier than the surebert rgb slider for most people to understand.

hmm i'll have to try it, b/c i'm not sure how iphone handles mouseover- I'm thinking 'not'- b/c it's totally not designed for a mouse at all.

meh, it was neat to see how you could transfer calls from your voip phone to your cell and then over to im. but even the phone was an ms voip phone, lol. we were joking how you should have been there though since the first slide showed a ton of different devices, lol.
paul - 08/10/07 14:20
Is it something good ?)
mrdeadlier - 08/10/07 14:16

Stomach Flu?
Category: health
Yesterday at work I was kind of sick thoughout the afternoon but I figured it was just something unsettled in my stomach. 12 hours later I am still mega sick to my stomach. I wish it would just end as I am not in the mood to spend anymore time in the bathroom. I hope it wasn't form the dinner on Wed night. The only other thing I ate was the fajita lunch at roswell, hm. But (e:enknot) and (e:jim) ate that too. I guess I did eat a cliff bar that looked kind of iffy. I threw out the bad looking part and ate the rest. Is anyone else sick?

At least today is awesome because they came out with a true mozilla based browser for my not phone that has flash 9. It does the site exactly as it should, sounds and all.

And I guess stomach flu can stop me from programming now that I have a sweet laptop with all my work on it. Wait a minute is that a blessing or do I now work like 24/7. Okay, at least I love it!

yipes. sorry to hear you are feeling ill. i sure do hope it's not the indian food that is bothering you. it sucks to like something that doesn't like you.

i adore indian food, but sometimes, it doesn't agree with me. my favie indian place, the star of india on delaware in kenmore tends to effect me the worst. so, perhaps it was fate that made me miss the indian food gathering the other night?

i'm feeling fine... but sorry you are sick...

Where I am at, always.
Category: life
Who would have thought so much of my life would pass by at Washington and Carlton. I got so much stuff done today but there are like 10,000 things that still need to be done.

I am now phoneless, for me it is a lot like homeless. The not phone is becoming my new best friend and I am totally addicted to skype. for my telephone needs right now.
jenks - 08/10/07 10:42
Huh? tony misses it? signing up for the Y?!
I'm confused... tony you're still at roswell, right?!
mrdeadlier - 08/10/07 00:40
Remember, you're not allowed to complain after signing up for the Y. ;)
enknot - 08/09/07 23:12
Here's something sick.... I miss it. I miss workin' really late and getting stuff done.
tinypliny - 08/09/07 21:52
Hey, not only do we work a block away, we also live a block away!
tinypliny - 08/09/07 21:50
and I just spent a month on my life merely a block away! :) (Didn't get anything done today *and* a million things need to be done)

And since I don't want to be a total contrast - I love skype too - such good call quality for rocking prices!

Walking Home - Main Street and Franklin
Category: buffalo
The pink house on the corner of North Pearl and Allen is for sale. i wish I could buy it. I think it would fit (e:hodown) quite well. You should move here and buy it. It is bigger than my house but pink and with apartments in it.

It's the one on the corner and it is for sale by owner. I never realized how big the one next to it is.

The cut the trees down on Franklin. I guess it is the aftermath of October surprise.

I brought this one home to maybe make a table thingy for the backyard.

image

The building at 920 main street caved in on the inside and the floor in front of the door is missing.
image

At least it looks like a cave in when you look through the glass. I mean it doesn't look like it could be intentional.

Looks like the store front on the corner of Allen and Main is turning into a gallery this week.

The touch screen on my PPC 6700 stopped working which leaves me in a weird place as the iphone doesn't do what I want and I don't want this phone anymore. I might just get a tmobile sidekick again. That was the best device I ever had and now that I always carry a camera anyways I could care less about the quality of the camera.
mike - 08/07/07 23:49

fellyconnelly - 08/07/07 11:47
