Bathing in a Box
Category: bath
I suggest buying a tote box to bathe in. It is much easier to keep clean than the bathtub and uses less water.

mike - 07/13/06 17:20
outstanding
leetee - 07/12/06 17:38
Yeah, like my fat ass is gonna fit into any kind of tote box?!? Maybe for your skinny, but becoming more muscular by the minute, butt...!
jason - 07/12/06 13:48
HAHAHAHAHA!

But can you take it camping?

The look on your face is priceless. You look pretty damn satisfied with yourself. Hilarious.
hodown - 07/12/06 09:36
Something is seriously wrong with you!

Shakespeare In The Park and poetry
Category: poetry
Went out to the (e:strip) Shakespeare in the Park Cultural Gathering imk2,86 - it was pretty fun. Lots of peeps and lots of freakin snacks and drinks. I think everyone had plenty to eat and drink. I

even played with a dog for a bit. It was okay because I was outside and it wasn't a cat.

The bill was a little riske don't you think?

Here are some video clips from the event.

On another note, my mother sent over potery I wrote in GT in middle school. I think they may have been one of my first times using any sort of layout software. The poetry was more serious than I would have expected out of me. I wonder what I was thinking.

riske - never seen that word before -- perhaps risque?
metalpeter - 07/10/06 19:11
I admit I tried to get into poetty but I really can't. Glad all you peeps had a good time last night. I just didn't have the energy I needend to go and enjoy my self. Cute pug.
imk2 - 07/10/06 15:52
wow, this is middle school stuff? i think i was reading sweet valley high in middle school and watching punky brewster on tv, not writing deep ass poetry. youre quite the mystery, paul.
ladycroft - 07/10/06 13:05
i like 'cemetary'
theecarey - 07/10/06 00:29
The astral selves entwining like candle wax is a sexy thought.

I dont think I knew what carnality was in middle school. I think boys may still have had cooties then, not sure..
leetee - 07/10/06 00:06
I wished i got a picture of Ava the pug trying desperatly to lick your face... she looooves you.

Gay Bathroom?
Q. How do you know you are in a gay bathroom?

A. When you find the pages of an inerior deocarting magazne stuck together on a table in front of the toilette.

Here is also a picture of a cool car I saw on the highway. I think it was a corvette, see you all at Shakespeare in the park.

yeah- way better than the lame fireworks we had here! Best I ever saw though were DC on the 4th. Choreographed to patriotic music and stuff- gave me goosebumps.
theecarey - 07/09/06 00:28
ha! very cool. Fireworks look pretty good on video!

Taste of Buffalo
Category: food
Buffalo just tastes good.

image

Seriously, I love this freakin' festival. I eat until I fell like I am going to puke and I get to try all kinds of new stuff and old favorites. I was full and had left over tickets with only $20. I know if went with (e:hodown) or (e:mike) I would have eaten about $40 worth of tickets.

Before I left I debated whether to wear flipflops or shoes with shorts. I think flipflops looked better but I didn't want to get stepped on so instead I wore shoes. My feet look huge when I wear shorts with shoes but nowadays, I just embrace the dorkiness.

Avon was there delivering some message about woman getting beaten.
image

I think they wanted them to cover up the problem or to get them and their men to "makeup"?
image

There was lots 80s songs and even some 90s ones. (e:matthew) notices that early 90s might be starting to come back. Thank god, I am ready for the eighties to go away again. It's really weird to think that 1980 is as far away now as 1960 was in 1986. Remember the 60s nostalgia then followed byt he 70s and most recently 80s nostalgia.

Crawfish just taste good. I am so satisfied ripping their heads off and eating the meat from the tail.

image

Pigskins. I think this is new this year. It is deep fried potato skins loaded with pulled pork and covered in nacho cheese.
image

There is this mirror on bada-bing on chippewa that makes me look tough. (e:matt) and (e:terry) too - it adds about 30 lbs

This is a pic of Lance Diamond entertaining us. He kept singing love songs and replacing the woman in the songs with Buffalo itself. You got to love Lance Diamond. Notice the vote for Nader 96 sticker which leads me to believe if I order real estrip.org bumper stickers and put them up everywhere, no one will ever remove them.

Where was the beef on weck? The wings? We had a good time, and all the food tasted delicious to me except for a chilled melon soup monstronsity. Melon and basil do not work well together under any circumstances.

enknot - 07/09/06 11:38
I have to quote this now so that I am the first to quote it.

"but nowadays, I just embrace the dorkiness."
-P. Visco

Here here paul! Here here!
metalpeter - 07/09/06 11:07
Glad you guys had a good time, nice pics.
jenks - 07/08/06 23:23
I love that girl in the pink shirt dancing to Lance Diamond.
And paul if you get really brave you should try sucking the heads of the crawfish. Sounds gross I know, but it's good.
mike - 07/08/06 19:56
I love tasting buffalo!!! How did I miss the pigskin thing? That looks amazing. I too only spent $25 and had tickets left over, quite a decline from last years mass quantities of eating. I forgot to give my extra tickets away so maybe I should make a quick stop back there tomorow. I usually go twice a year and so who knows...
