A man walked into the corner store with a shotgun and demanded all of the money from the cash register. After the cashier put the money in the bag as instructed, the man demanded the bottle of Scotch he saw behind the counter. The cashier refused to hand over the Scotch because he did not believe the man was 21. The robber swore he was, but still the clerk refused. Finally, the robber handed over his ID and proved that he was indeed twenty-one. As soon as he left, the cashier called and gave the police the name and address of the man who had just robbed the store. The suspect was arrested two hours later. Dumblaws.com
It amazes me that the man would actually ask the man for id even though he was being robbed at gunpoint. Then add the fact that the man handed over his id. Real insane how people can be so stupid. Anyway the criminal himself is the best part of this story I say. It was an everyday robbery and he made a complete idiot out of himself. better find a different day job cause robbing is definately what he is not good at.

Sounds harsh towards the woman in this country. The woman is being treated as if she were a child. She has to ask if she can get a job and everything goes to the husband anyway. I am all for equal rights and this law is a terrible thing. I understand it being in the old times but seeing it has lasted for lonf long is nuts.

Swear in Michigan
Location of law:Michigan
You may not swear in front of women and children in the state of Michigan. This law only sounds stupid because you know there is no way that it can't be broken. Not to mention the fact that its in Michigan. One of the worst states that has the highest crime rate. I can't imagine how many times people swear in front of woman and chidren. Also the fact that woman and children swear themselves. I do not see this law working at all. Maybe in the old times but not now. Its probably a law that not one even gets in trouble for since there are more problems in the world that are worse then that one.

It is illegal for a liquor store to sell cold soft drinks.
a liquor store is after all a LIQUOR store so in the sense be specified in selling the product and not soft drinks that can compete with it. Plus on the upside having no soda will limit the minors that come into the store and perhaps getting the idea of stealing or attempting to purchase the liquor.
Liquor stores may not sell milk. Geez....This store can't sell anything can they? Well there is no law against juice being sold inside. Milk being a pure substance that builds strong bones can not be sold in a place where items that kill brain cells are sold? Who knew?

Water Rabbits
Location of Law: Kansas
Prohibits shooting rabbits from a motorboat.
First of all this law sounds out of the question since there are not rabbits in the water. But then you think to yourself....Well you can shoot them on land while sitting in a motorboat. So either way by law you can't in a motor boat on land or water. The reasoning behind it.....no clue. If you were in California you couldn't shoot them in a car. so if your hunters I wouldn't go to these places. haha

Sunshine is guaranteed to the masses. This should not be a law because it can't always be true for one thing and if it is broken then who pays for it? The sun? I mean the state shouldn't guarantee something that can not be controled by man. Yes there is sunshine but not all the time. Also some people's view on sunshine are different. A sunshine day with rain is not full sunshine because clouds were in the way at some points of the day.
Animals are banned from mating publicly within 1,500 feet of a tavern, school, or place of worship. I can understand the school and church thing because there are children at both places and shouldn't be seen. But a tavern? I do not see the reason behind it. I don't agree with this law anyway because its another thing that can't be controled all the time. Sure pets could be controled and seperated but what about the strays? Are they put to death for such crimes?
Bathhouses are against the law. A bathhouse against the law? Why was it created in the first place then? What about campers who have that one little building for bathing in on theway back home...

It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.
This should be a law in any given state. In fact it should not even be a law because it is so dumb it should be a mental thing where you automatically know not to do it. Like swearing in a church. Its something you know you just don't do.
Dominoes may not be played on Sunday.
I don't understand the reasoning or why this law was passed at one point but I'm sure there has to be a good reason behind it. Maybe playing this game distracted people from going to church. Even though the church and state are seperate things. I don't see a need for this law either way.

I can see why because it would disrupt the crowd and take away from the reasoning of being there but this law is too specific. If this law was to prevent out bursts in church then the law should have said no fake materials at all on body that can cause laughter. I mean a giant fake nose will draw more attention then a mustache.

It is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot at the bank teller with a water pistol.
Makes sense. Even though robbing a bank is a crime in the first place. I know at any school having a gun that looks to be real but turning out to be fake is also a crime as well. A kid at my highschool got kicked out for such a thing. He thought he was cool and got into a agruement with some other kid and decided to take it out. Thinking that if its fake there would be no issues over it. Guess again. Anything resembling a real gun can cause fear in others and someone real get hurt either way.

Strange Men
The unassuming town of Greensburg, Pa. (pop. 16,000, just east of Pittsburgh), was the site of two high-profile arrests recently. In July, James, 21, was suspected as the man responsible for several toe-kissing incidents, including one underneath a public library table, when he allegedly kissed the feet of a 12-year-old girl and asked if he could kiss her liver.
The crime seems gross and petty all at the same time. First off going around kissing strangers feet is bad enough but then adding a little girl into the mix is real sickening. What kind of punishment is suitable for this crime? I mean jail time seems to fit but for how long? He technically didn't commit rape or assault.
In September, Robert, 48, who cross-dresses as "Kelly," was charged with trespassing (and suspected of identity theft) after "Kelly" was found outside the girls' locker room at Greensburg Salem High School looking for the cheerleading coach. The 200-pound Robert said he merely wanted her to teach him some cheers. In Robert's apartment, police found cheerleader magazines and uniforms, pompoms, and photos of "Kelly" in cheerleader garb. This is a story basically on a man with a fetish taking it way too far. Which leaves the conclusion that the man obviously is not married. The answer could lead or a better situation or worse one for him.
