BBC's THE LORD OF THE RINGS
Three rings for the elven kings under the sky,
seven for the dwarf lords in their halls of stone,
nine for mortal men doomed to die,
one for the dark lord on his dark throne
in the land of mordor where the shadows lie.
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,
one ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
in the land of mordor where the shadows lie.

Radio Archives Added
We are going to start offering lots of downloadable original radio shows. All of our live broadcasts will be avaiable in the future. Currently, we have one test evening that is a little whacky. We were testing the software and were only allowed 1 min 30 sec recordings, so there are 20 of them.
Starting this week we will have several live shows on archive. The file names are based on the date of the recording, as well as, the number of recording that day.
If you would like a recording show of you own hosted within the archive. Please email me. If you have any questions send us an IM at "elmwoodradio"

SUSPENSE
WEEKNIGHTS at 10:00 EST
Aired 1942-1962
Suspense presented plays dealing with life and death situations, but themes were generally realistic, with occasional science-fiction exceptions. At its peak, Suspense was one of radio’s best. Film stars loved it. For the first few years the shows were introduced by “The Man in Black” originally played by Joseph Kearns. Its opening was one of radio’s best-remembered classics; “the hushed voice and the prowling step … the stir of nerves at the ticking of the clock … the rescue that might be too late, or the murderer who might get away … we invite you to enjoy stories that keep you in … Suspense…”
