"North Tonawanda To Open A New Tops

There's something brand new and big on Meadow drive in North Tonawanda. Tops has built a 57,000 square foot store. It almost doubles the size of the Tops on Nash road in North Tonawanda.

One of the coolest new features the store has is the deli express. Stefanie Zakowitz, Tops spokesperson says "to save time we have a deli express where customers can pre-order deli items."
It's simple and easy to use. There's a computer screen. It lists items the deli has from luncheon meats to salads. You touch the item on the screen you want, including how much and the way you want it sliced. Within seconds the customer gets a slip with the order and your number and the time the order will be ready.

There's also the store-in-a-store concept. Aisles are designed specifically for certain needs such as baby care, pets and health and beauty products.

There's also a shop to cook kiosk where you scan your meat item and receive recipes for that particular meat item."

I think I need to go to Tops and by some.... peppers... that's it. I want to preorder meat!

cool

do not call

since i signed up for the 'do not call' registry we have gotten 98% less calls from telemarketers. i didn't expect much because it says it can take 3 months to go through but it went through soon enough. the vendors or whatever you call them have to review the list every 3 months which is why they say that.

i also didn't know if someone calls you, you can say 'put me on your do not call list' and they have to and can't call you anymore.

i recommend putting your number(s) on the list.

i slept way toooo late today i feel like a dumbbumm.

[inlink]mike,220[/inlink]Interesting you say that Mike. About a half an hour ago I was thinking the same thing. If this keeps up I may have to go to the tanning salon to keep up my tan.

I am an avid watcher of CourtTV. There is a new show on Wednesday called Katie.com about some girl who fell prey to an Internet predator. Anyways, I didn't know what Katie.com meant so I went to the website. This website is owned by a lady who bought the name 8 yrs ago and has maintained a great personal website, according to her. Now, because of the book Katie.com, she no longer has that. People go to her site and email her about their own molestation stories and praise her for coming forward. She is pissed to say the least and I am pissed for her. The site for this girl who wrote the book is katieT.com. Well, why didn't she make that the title of her book to begin with? It just stinks for the lady minding her own business. Penguin publishing is ignoring her request to even admit that they shouldn't have allowed the book to be called Katie.com. oh well. that's all i have to say.

i have to take a few classes to 'catch up' in my mater's program. i took one over 3 years ago and got an A- but I can't remember squat. I decided instead of taking the class over and giving myself 20 credit hours, I would just buy the book and read it.

Amazon.com doesn't have it in stock yet so I am going to try the UB bookstore. I doubt they are set up but I guess its worth a try. I only have a month to learn 400 pages. I hope I can put my mind to it.

I also ordered a subscription to People magazine. I like to read gossip about celebs, its a weakness.

weird dream

i had a crazy dream. i was touring the country on a tiny motorcycle that i had to push with my arms or oars or something. we stopped at some random lady's house to crash and two of my friends were there. they wanted to go out to a bar and i wanted to go but they were acting weird. finally i said what!? and they said they wanted to go to a gay bar. i said that's fine but they were like... we want to pick up some chicks. so i was like fine, i'll call matthew. i tried but it sounded like someone picked up the phone but didn't say anything. all this while derek was sleeping on the random lady's bed. i then just went to bed in the other room which looked a lot like a home i used to live in as a kid.

then my friends called derek to give them a ride home b/c they were drunk and he was pissed.

i spend too much time online. i have to clean my house. i hate putting clothes away. i wish we didn't have to wear them. there are clothes all over. in the bathroom , in the hallway, in the bedroom, in the computer room. i hate clothes.

i have this awful song in my head it sucks. i don't know who sings it but its on mtv. in fact i think it was like #2 on TRL. why was i watching that, you ask? i hate commercials so i have to fill commercial time with something that i can flip back and forth between and not get lost.

anyways this awful song. how did this song get popular??

i can say its a black man, i think he's wearing orange and he bumps and grinds with women. there's a lot of orange in the background. there are also women dancing with red tasselled clothing.

does anyone know what song i mean and please agree he sucks. he just sounds like he is totally making up the voice as a joke.

i'm not angry about it, i swear.

books

[inlink]springfaerie,28[/inlink]

i don't know which books are classics. do they have to be very old?

anyways, i am reading Farenheit 451 and I am enjoying it immensly. Its pretty short too. My brother finished reading it even though I started before him but he said it was really good.

Also, I've read Frankenstein. I never knew that I really didn't know much about Frankenstein at all. I thought it was really good. Maybe it was because I was so surprised at how much happened in the book.

Wuthering Heights, I don't think I finished.

The Scarlet Letter was good, Grapes of Wrath I believe was good. (I can't remember, read those in HS)
