so tired

it took me 16 minutes to get to south campus today. i thought that was pretty fantastic. on the other hand, i don't know my way around there at all and spent 20 minutes trying to park. good thing i left early.

i only had one class today and at 11am. i can't understand why i am sooo tired. tomorrow is one class after another from 8am to 2pm. at least all of my classes are on the same campus and i don't have to drive around. now i just have to learn my way around.

it was so weird to be in a classroom again. i felt so old although most of my classmates are only 1 or 2 yrs younger than me. i haven't been in a classroom in over a year. my last classes were all on location at elementary schools and i didn't have to deal with parking. plus i had made friends. now i know noone. :( hopefully i'll lose the 5 pounds i gained by walking around campus. ;)

i think this speech pathology major will be a good thing. everything sounds so interesting. i learn about phonetics, anatomy, math, physics and science. its a little of everything, not too much of one thing.

i shudder at the thought of having to get up at 6am tomorrow. god help me.

ack!

ok. i am thoroughly freaked out. there must be fighter jet practice or something. there are these planes that are flying SOOOOOoooo low and sound like they might crash into the house at any moment. its soo loud and scary. now i am going to try to find out through the 'net if anything is going on.

i hear another plane, i hope its just a normal one this time. 8*

and its ironic that i happen to be searching for airline tickets at the time of this.

update : there is an air show in niagara falls the 28th and 29th. it actually looks like fun. anyways, they must be practicing or someeeething. ;)

i need help. i have yet to find myself a real OB/GYN. The school nurses don't cut it anymore and I have insurance so why not go to a reallll doctor?? There are many many of you who are indiginous to this place and have real doctors so help me out. I already picked a general doctor by randomization and he turned out to be a strange, strange man.

soooo ladies--- email me! click on "email lisa" and email me names of doctors you know, love and trust. you can remain anonymous or not I don't care I just need some names to work with. I prefer the north towns so I don't have to drive far.

Please help!

back to good ol'buffalo

Well, I'm back back back in the New York groove... That's from KiSS. So back in Buffalo. I had an exciting adventure in good ol' NYC. We did lots of things but at the same time didn't. Its weird, but a great tiime was had by all.

Highlights

40 yr. old man striking up a conversation with us and apparently i was funny so he spit out his drink on my leg and hand.
going to a store and seeing my former roommate's picture in their catalog
complete vegetarian chinese food made to resemble real meat (that was in philly)
amy getting 7 inches of her hair cut off on a whim
chuck - the alcoholic hobbit, with the frizziest afro mane ever seen.
seeing a little person after drinking way too much is never good
being denied use of the bathroom because girls snorting coke
where else would you walk for 5 hours straight and not care?
king sized bed
i would say pizza but i got jipped big time
telling someone i was from nevada but after asked 'what city?' i said, 'i don't know.'
thinking some kid was hot. finding out he was 17.

as for the naked thing.... i would say it is art, i guess. he found something people think is cool and will pay for so he will do it every which way.

what about anne geddes? she dresses up little babies like flowers and can make money off of it so she does it every which way.

that guy that dresses up his weimeraner. same thing.

or that freakish little dog with the really long toungue. Mr. Winks? or Winkle?

People get naked all the time and paint or draw their likeness or in abstract so as long as its not crude, people are willing to o.k. it. the naked pictures, i mean.

i wouldn't do it personally but i'm not so against it i guess and of all places, i don't get why he would do it there. safety first, i say. i don't even like breathing in dust from sanding wooden furniture.

HEY, there was an E!TrueHollywood story about "Lobster Boy." He was in the circus like it was written and he was also a drunk and severely abusive to his children. He eventually shot himself. (or someone might have shot him)

here's a link to a 'scary halloween' page showing that they will be playing "lobster boy" on halloween. i can't tell for sure if this is a page for last year or this year.

anyways, itsn't it sad its on any halloween? they are sooo spooky.
