dont worry, get naked

whats the best way for us to learn about each other without going through every post

[my disclaimer] i'm sure someone has already posted about this or youve already heard this but i havent gone through every single journal in the past few weeks (sorry!).

if you didn't get naked last time

(i think after the naked estrip party, someone actually posted a photo of this, but i can't seem to find it) anyways, spencer tunick
is coming to town to take one of those huge naked people photos in front of the old train station on the east side (old central terminal in case you don't know it, go to the east side and check it out, it was designed by the same person who did grand central in nyc). so they're looking for people to pose, here's the link to sign up.

making wishes, watching dreams

fire in mike's coffee cup

i just finished reading the zine of someone i met three years ago. i hardly knew him, and boy its strange reading about someone's life and not knowing them, letting the words and details fill in the notion of the person. i get carried away thinking about how this journal wont tell you a thing about me, but at the same time it must. after all, i am moved to the point of writing a note to him. his mother had a brain tumor and he toured in a band with a friend whom i had met when he happened to pass through this town. his words just make sense. i can write and write all i want (tho i'll claim to never have the time to) but im sure i wouldnt be able to incite any notion of caring in someone reading my words. but still..

who cares wins

the kitchen that we've been working on for a year is finally done. and fancy it is. it feels like sunshine.

good night and don't let the bed bugs bite

3 am already. where are you, wednesday night. it is that season of the year again. somehow it doesn't feel right without charles.

slow without coffee

whoa. that stinks robin, but im glad it was just the purse he wanted. forget about the bflo cops, i dno if theres anything to help that. and to the perp- great job stealing a girls tampon, scumbag..

so i heard earlier this week that the carlyle group bought 2 billion in stock in loews theatres. coincidentally, right when farenheit 911 had been released. now, i have no idea if that much stock gives them any control, so i looked it up. turns out they just damn bought the whole operation..dated june 21, 2004

"Loews is the third largest movie theater chain in the global motion picture exhibition industry, with over 200 theaters and 2,200 screens worldwide."

*F**k!!*

if you were that lady in the white car on utica street that i screamed an obscenity at the other day, i'm quite sorry. you see, you were driving down utica and approaching the red light and the corner at a speed that seemed too fast for a car that was stopping, or slowing down. maybe you were going to turn right on red at that intersection, but you were looking straight ahead, and definitely did not notice me and my friend on the tandem bike, in the midst of occupying the space that your car was inching towards. anyways, the four letter word wasnt meant for you.

random pickings of the past two weeks

wore a fancy red hat. met the fundraising goal. had a little too much raz. made a stripey bulletin board. saw some of you. had some popcorn on the couch in the parking spot. worked til late and then again. rejoiced because its finally over. dropped by your house to no avail. forgot where some of you lived. got addicted to answering the question 'who killled laura palmer?' got some good news. made a tv dinner meal. did some prom shopping. laughed lots. will be living it up in this time between before everyone goes away in the fall. planning, oh event planning again. dreamt. woke up and laughed at bill clinton. flyer making. planning food. soon, prom, painting and puppy love.
