Canadaway Creek Leantos

After 17 years I found the book with the directions and we hiked out. Should make for some nice camping later in the season.

I don't remember there being a bathroom before. I also thought there was more brush/tree between the leantos and the water. Maybe its just tall grass that has been cut down.

There were so many old carvings on the leanto walls. I can't believe we didn't make any.

OMG OMG OMG!!! My favorite camping place on the face of the earth. AMAZING! We are so going this summer. I have so many amazing memories of that place. Is the well pump for water still there?

Macs Suck 10.7.3 Nightmare

we upgraded to the new os 10.7.3 and it totally fucked up the computer. Now when it connects to the tv it breaks down in graphic artifacts. I even installed the combo update over the top and its still fucked. From what I read a lot of people had trouble. So much for it just works. At least it works if the internal screen is closed or the external monitor is disconnected but not if both are on. I tried resetting the PRAM.

Ugh. No OS is perfect. So aggravating, in general. Btw, after a recent update of F16 the some vicious freezes have come back in my now-ATI laptop. ATI and F16 just don't play well each other.

The weather outside is crazy

There is no more snow and it was so warm this morning. This carthome has been abandoned for a few days now. I wonder what happend to the owner.

Sometimes we do get mild Winters and some years Brutal Winters..... When I was a kid I heard that some day Buffalo would be like 70 during the winter cause there is a hole in the ozone layer so......

I'm not a climate Scientist.... But what a someone I knew and this was years ago said that over 1,000s of years the poles reverse.... Now thinking back to earth science there was what they called the true north pole meaning polarity not the name of the country....

My theory is that yes global warming is a bad term is real... Yes all the stuff we pump into the air effects it... But I also think that no one can really know all the effects.... But my idea is that the seasons as we call them are moving...

Some day Buffalo might be on the ocean and Japan will be underwater or maybe as the ice caps melt it will be green land that vanishes ......

Well it isn't to early If you are still up at 7am! :) ..... Seriously though what got Panos on the map wasn't Breakfast it was that you can get it any time.... But what really got it on the map was all the people who went to the bars till 4am or maybe only 2 could go eat some where after drinking.... Or at least that is what I was told?

The stuff I looked at didn't seem that great. Matthew liked some of the sweaters but they were so thin they were see through if you held them up to the light and all of the shoes were plastic.
