Birthday Breakfast and Dinner

On my birthday I decided to super relax it. We went to brunch at Left. Bank at 12:30, followed by a six hour nap, followed by dinner at Kunis. It was great.

It might not be clear from the picture what it is but the brunch is actually crab cakes covered in egg pillows with a citrus hollandaise sauce.

That sounds like a great day. I got to say though my brunch at Mythos looked better than your brunch at Left Bank. It was smoked salmon benedict with cream cheese and holandaise sauce.

The orange phone

thanks! I had no idea what to search for! I tried headsets but all I could come up with were bluetooth headsets. I gave up after that. The word retro did not come to mind! :)

Making labels

My mom asked for help making labels on the new computer. We used libre office. After I got ready to print I asked which type of labels she had and she said she had to check the box.

She said she had them for a while then out came these dot matrix style printer labels that I think we had with the commodore 64.

Its si strange looking at old computer stuff. I starts to seem prehistoric so fast.

Well I don't know what kind of printer they use at work if it dot or laser but for orders we pick we still use the computer paper with the holes in the side like these labels.... We have to since we do different things with all 3 copies of the bill.... Of course it isn't green and white striped any more......

I remember the dot matrix printing paper from my first "computer class" in 1992. Those labels don't seem even half as prehistoric as the paper.

I go along with (e:mrmike) in have someone else clean it.... And here is my way of thinking....

You want to clean it cause it is dusty and dirty and looks bad but also cause you don't want to be breathing that stuff in..... Well unless you get like a really good mask you all ways wind up breathing some of that stuff in when you clean anything so just pay someone to have it done.....
