New estrip themes
Category: estrip
There are four new estrip styles. I will make more when I have some time. You can select them from the front page. My favorite one is called plant. It makes me think its really summer despite the weather.

I don't like theatre much either unless people are being extremely dramatic or dancing and singing at least.

Its actuall my parents that were the VIPs.
tinypliny - 05/27/11 20:22

Dirty Pipe
Category: house
The sink was clogged. Plunging it I found it filled with dirt. I can't device if this is topsoil or just the dirt we washed off ourselves over the last couple years.

I think water itself has that many sediments. Didn't you tell me that there was some serious grime on your water filter.

Glen Park?
Category: outside
I waited for a while at Glen park in Williamsville while (e:terry) took his test yesterday. It was beautiful out but I felt so old as there were so many teenage lovers walking around holding hands.

We drove down Main St for years before we knew this park existed. I think it is one of Williamsville's open secrets.

(e:tinypliny) - my guess is that Glen here is used the same as it is in "watkin's glen" in which "A glen is a valley, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped; or one with a watercourse running through such a valley. Whittow [1] defines it as a "Scottish term for a deep valley in the Highlands" that is "narrower than a strath."" :::link:::

Believe it or not, I know people who think that the best years of their lives were their teenage years and that their lives have been going down hill since then. On the other hand, my teenage years were miserable and being the pollyanna that I am, I think that the best is yet to come.
tinypliny - 05/26/11 20:27
I see teenagers and I think... wow, these people have a long way to go before they grow out of this phase. I am usually glad I am not in their stupid shoes.
tinypliny - 05/26/11 20:25
Did they name it after Watkins Glen... talking of which, I really want to go back and do the 3.5 mile hike once more. It was so much fun!

nice looking place.....
