My love/hate of scenic boys blog
Category: web
Caution with the link, it contains some non-sexual nudity but also a ton of awesome hiking pics and videos from the west coast more non-nude than nude.

Every once in a while I go back to and check out their latest adventures. They seem to always put mine to shame. Recently, they got back from Burning Man. I am entirely jealous. They remind me of the (e:Terry) and I from our pre-buffalo days but somehow they got a bunch of friends to join them on their adventures. Living on the west coast gives them such a tremendous advantage with adventure options.

That pic is from their adventure in may

It's the green-eyed monster.
libertad - 09/13/10 15:11
What do you hate about it? That they are not naked nearly enough?

Blind worship of Apple
Category: computers
PC mag has this article showing the new update to the iphone seems to slow it down more (e:matthew)'s iphone 3g has major speed issues since he first upgraded to iOS 4 so I was curious about the results of the latest update. Regardless of the test results being accurate or not, its comments like this that make me question the sanity of apple fanatics.

I've had my 2g since 1.0 and it gets slower with each update. Just yesterday I was telling my wife it took like 60 seconds to check a received text message.

With that said the iphone is by far still the best game in town.

Really joe? You think a phone that takes 60 seconds to check a text message ( a key phone function) is the best game in town. Sounds like you haven't shopped around very much.

He said it doesn't crash when people call anymore but that its not like it was.

Did iOS 4.1 help Matthew? Friends of mine on 3g iPhone's have noticed a big improvement.

Pork chops and pear sauce
Category: food
I got to use the pear sauce with the organic grilled pork chops and Rosemary.

I topped it off with these amazing grapes. This type of grape is my favorite. They are dark green and similar in texture to Concord but the seeds aren't as bitter.

Ya, I love concord grapes, these green ones are pretty similar.

(e:lilho), you were right about almost everything but the sausage was steamed japanese eggplant. The skin turned brown when streamed.
janelle - 09/11/10 20:30
Someone brought us concord grapes grown in their backyard and they just blew me away. The best tasting grapes I've ever had. I think it's because each grape was a mini burst of tartness and sweetness all at the same time. Like the skin was tart but the inside was sweet. Yummy.

k, i'm so bored at work, i am now going to list the items i believe to be on your plate of food which makes it the most odd combo ever. i would prob eat that combo though because i will really eat most anything... pork chop, olives, pear sauce, rice, fancy little pickles(which i love), sausage?, cucumbers, and grapes. i love how you are going to eat it all with a spoon, i love eating with sppons!

pear sauce
Category: food
At around 10PM I started to clean the kitchen and make pear sauce. I didn't finish until 3am but the pear sauce looks and smells so yummy. I didn't have much choice about waiting because I was working with the broken pears that fell from the tree in the wind storm the other day and got damaged.

Giovanni hot chocolate sugar scrub
Category: chocolate
I don't even know what this stuff is for but it smelled more amazing then anything I ever smelled so I bought it.

Ingredients: organic sugar, Safflower seed oil, Theobroma Cacao (cocoa beans), honey, polysorbate 20, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Kukui nut, shea butter, vitamin e, Walnut shell

Instructions: Scrub. Under a warm shower, dip into jar and then rub across body to exfoliate all over. Rinse.

Cost: $10.99 but I think it seems like it would last a long time and the smell is so good.

lilho - 09/11/10 16:45
its for exfoliation, if you have dry skin, scrub over slightly moist skin then rinse off and follow with a moisturizer after shower.
paul - 09/11/10 11:09
It at wegmans in the natures food section by the shampoos and stuff. Its $10 but I think from testing it that it seems like enough to last a long time.

I added cost, ingredients and instructions to the post.
tinypliny - 09/11/10 07:41
Gets rid of rough skin and calluses? Some sort of exfoliation mix.
tinypliny - 09/11/10 07:39
I recently got a cream made of 70% cocoa beans and cocoa butter. It smells like I have smeared chocolate all over. The trouble is I am now tempted more by the small chocolate pieces they have in the reception office of the department - especially this devious brand called butterfingers. I hope the office people keep thinking I have taken a shine to them and not the goodies in the bowl.

Where did you get this?? I want it too! How much is it?
