Warcraft style beer

This picture was from the back of the beer Delivery truck near kunis.
(e:enknot) mentioned it looked like a Warcraft ad for beer which I
though would be perfect for (e:Terry)

Screw the Beer I want the Wench

Don't forget to upgrade to firefox 3.5
Category: web
Firefox 3.5 came out yesterday, don't forget to upgrade! Its faster and has a whole lot of new cool features.

libertad - 07/03/09 09:13
Thanks. I thought it always did updates automatically but I guess not. I like the new quick tab thing.
metalpeter - 07/02/09 19:35
I wonder if the New Firefox being out is why my current one keeps crashing before it opens, I'll have to try and remember to download this when I have more time.
heidi - 07/02/09 12:57
done. thanks.
tinypliny - 07/02/09 02:18
It a memory hog just like before. If I go above a certain number of tabs (and I always have more than ten open at any given time) memory consumption goes up to more than 700 MB.

Luka and the email
Category: luka

You've received email via estrip.org

m(o_o)m

hey, maybe we got off on the wrong foot. I understand I may come accross as unlikeable, however, I believe blogging is speaking about whats on my mind and I share a lot and I like to blog a lot, its very theraputic to me.
I find your site a good outlet for me and I find it easy. A friend told me about it. If at any point you would rather not have me on your site, I can understand.

All the best,
Kind Regards
Luka Magnotta :)

m(o_o)m

Hey Luka,
Glad you responded.

I just thought you were a robot and that made me angry. Well that and to be perfectly honest, the thought that you might have been a scientologist bot, which would be my personal antichrist.. I am sure they are not all bad, but I had a run in with a couple bad ones here in Buffalo.

Some of my nastier comments were just trying to get you to respond. I'll try and be nicer now that I know you are a real person.

I worked really hard to make estrip a totally non-commercial, local gathering-space. For about 6 years now we have remained kind of off the radar and a pretty small close knit community. My fear is that an influx of internet outsiders would ruin the small community vibe that the members go there for.

I guess once you start interacting with people they will probably like you a lot more. Its not like facebook or myspace where there are cliques and friend's lists, etc. Everyone is in one big group and they all pretty much read and comment on each others journal.

Who is your friend that suggested estrip. I am so curious?

I am going to post this so they everyone knows what's up.
Paul
paul - 05/31/12 23:00
Guess he was a real person after all.
jenks - 07/03/09 08:48
I may be seeing this too late, but yeah- I think DT commented on one of his first posts, something like "eric, hey dude, what are you doing here?"

And- who is bill?
hodown - 07/02/09 23:06
OMG controversy. I agree with Bill though. And when you google Luka alot of his posts are the same on every blogging site. No original content.

Basically until Luka posts something non douche tastic I will remain steadfast in my belief that he is one of the most irrelevant humans I've ever become aware of (kinda like the Wal-mart version of Julia Allison).
tinypliny - 07/02/09 21:55
You know what? He did say he is coming to the Casino this month. Maybe all of us should take him up on his invitation and lay this question to rest once and for all.

Luka, if you are seeing this, tell us when you will be here. I have not yet seen the Niagara falls and would really like an excuse to come to Niagara City, the casino and the falls when you are here.
uncutsaniflush - 07/02/09 21:39
Personally, I'm still not convinced that Luka is a "real" person. Historically, I've known collectives who could and did invent "real" personas mostly just to say they could. When necessary, one of the collective would "be" the persona as needed for more direct communications.

The motives were usually not malicious. It was more social experimenting and proof of concept (or probably more accurately "proof of conceit") than anything else.

To the best of my knowledge, no one I know is responsible for Luka.
bill - 07/02/09 13:00
Paul...I think Luka is a conceited a**hole with an EXTREMELY poor attitude towards other people who are not as "beautiful" as he is. And, frankly...I don't think he's all that 'hot'...and I'm sure there are others who think the same...he's definitely not everyone's "type". So...in my opinion...just delete him!!! Estrip will be better off without him!
tinypliny - 07/02/09 02:05
That is really nice. I am really sorry if I poked you hard enough to provoke a response, Luka. But hey, it worked. ;)
joshua - 07/02/09 01:59
Hmm - good on Luka and good on you Paul.

Luka - the douchebag
Category: luka
I am going to be blunt about it - I fucking hate him and I am sick about hearing from everyone else how much they hate him. Seriously, I even got phone calls from four people about it.

He, the person or bot, represents the global part of internet I created estrip to get away from. He has nothing to do with our town, nothing he ever writes will, he is not related to anyone and I just realized his relation to scientology.

Why would anyone in his position bring their drama here other than to take advantage of the SEO.

Basically, I just want him gone and so do a lot of you as I have gotten a whole bunch of emails about it. I would prefer we just be open about it.

So I am torn on how to deal with it. He never responds and some of his text comes from other sources which makes me think he is just a robot. If that is the case I have no problem just deleting him at once.

Another part of me thinks he is a real person just trying to promote his disgusting commercial "internet brand." but in that case I think he would respond.

What do you guys think? I was thinking about just making a terms of service adjustment that requires a regular estrip member to sponsor out of towners. I mean imagine if a whole slew of lukabots decided to join.

The scientology thing is really just the last straw for me. When he first came on, I came across that same article he wrote for another site in 2007.
metalpeter - 07/02/09 19:44
Here is the thing, he writes a lot of blogs and gets a lot of views. I think that if people don't like what he says then they should just not read them. I don't know if he is real or not. But he wouldn't be the first person who posts on a web site and puts up multiple posts. Some Examples I can think of real quickly was (e:theecarey)'s friend Sean something and he was on that dating show. If memory serves correctly. He wrote a blog and let you know he had like this other blog. I have seen something like that on Myspace that is really annoying that someone writes a blog that gives basic info but for the full story you have to go to there personal web page. I think he should stay. I also do get the feeling that the posts could be a way to increase web presence.
paul - 07/02/09 01:27
Well, I like you better now that you are at least responding and acting like a human and less like a robot. I still don't understand it but its more tolerable.
tinypliny - 07/02/09 01:22
This country is about freedom of speech, but you do realize this whole site is personally owned, don't you?
tinypliny - 07/02/09 01:19
Well, here is a challenge Luka, why don't you read a bunch of our blogs and get to know all of us? Comment and tell us what you think,
theecarey - 07/02/09 01:08
if he is real, I would love to see him interact more with this community, much in the way that all of the users here already do amongst each other. I dont think there are any members who dont interact on some level, at some point.

but if it is indeed all a joke, then 'he' is pulling valid attention away from the people who do write. It will get old, but why allow the fake blog bombardment.
At the very least, if you (Luka) are going to fuck with us, do more than toss regurgitated blogs at us.
lukamagnotta - 07/02/09 01:07
?? um why is everyone being so mean? Yes, If people dont want to read my blogs then feel free not to, I thought this country was based on freedom of speech though?

Yes, I wrote about my scientology experience before, however i thought I would share it again, I enjoy writting. I dont think people should critisize me so harshly.
paul - 07/02/09 01:04
dt says, "No what you're dealing with is an obsessed psycho path. Prolly a degenerate. Be careful about posting parties with this nut job"

So probably not a friend.
joshua - 07/02/09 00:59
Porn, man.
tinypliny - 07/02/09 00:57
I see this very differently than (e:joshua). Pardon me if I am being näive. I don't think "Luka"'s blog has anything to do with religion or sexuality. At all. There is a common theme in each of his posts. Hate. That's all there is.

Assuming for a moment that he is real and not some bot, in my professional opinion, he actually sounds like he might be in need of psychiatric help. I am not sure that commenting positively or negatively or even neutrally on his thoughts is even wise in that case.

I see (e:strip) as a community - not a forum for a continuous outpouring of near-psychiatric pathological loathing of everything under the sun and self-aggrandizement to the point of insanity.

Controversy might be interesting, but this is just raking up trouble and manipulating readers to comment on content that isn't original, is hateful, and reeks of mental imbalance.

If it sounds like I am judging this person/bot, YES, I am judging this person/bot. I can't understand where all this hate is coming from and I don't want any part of it.

If you do decide to let him stay on, I will respect your decision and continue to avoid his blog like the plague. I see your point about there being a remote chance that he is a real person. I think the real question is why (e:strip)? Why not the million other sites that he is already shrouding?

The final decision is yours, (e:Paul).
paul - 07/02/09 00:57
And how do you get in the imdb without even having a movie listed with your bio :::link:::
paul - 07/02/09 00:56
Even wikipedia deleted him :::link:::
paul - 07/02/09 00:53
This is his IP. :::link:::
joshua - 07/02/09 00:48
I've got $10 on (e:paul) deleting him before he goes to sleep, ignoring that he ever asked anybody's opinion beforehand. lol.
paul - 07/02/09 00:48
I don't think DT really knows him?
joshua - 07/02/09 00:47
I think he's fucking w/you now Paul.
joshua - 07/02/09 00:45
I've got some serious conspiracy theories here. Maybe he knows about your enthusiasm for Google Analytics and decided that he wanted to cut and paste block text, 5 or 6 journal entries at a time to keep his hit count up on the search engines. I can't prove it but it seems he's intentionally "blog shopped" over the past few years to get these same entries in as many blog sites as possible. My best conspiracy theory (not saying much) - estrip.org is a domain name close at heart to him based on his background and that's how he stumbled here? He's obviously a real person, DT knows him somehow... which is a freaky, freaky turn of events I can't come to terms with.
joshua - 07/02/09 00:37
To be honest his blog doesn't bother me, I don't really want to be part of the pitchfork brigade. I don't care about peoples' religions any more than I care about their sexuality. I don't think he was proselytizing. Plus, I miss (e:cindy) and this site lacks controversy since (e:lilho) moved.

Bright colors
Category: colors
Like the tortoise, I have a thing for bright colors. At home depot, their book called "color designs for living" shows a room with the bright orange and green I love. I felt like having that scheme on the cover of such a book legitimizes it. So many people made fun of me when I chose those colors for the side parlor before we "toned it down" to Victorian gold and dark cocoa brown.

image

The Kenmore day fireworks were full of bright colors but my iphone 3g camera is shit, so you get this pic of the food. Its ironic that my old cell phone back in 2006 was able to take a video of them (e:paul,32688)

If you gave never checked out the Kennore day fireworks I suggest you go next year. They are by far the most exciting fireworks display I ever saw.

image

I want this ceramic drink container from target. It's like cookie jar, gone camping - but for drunks.

image

(E:Matthew) finally agreed on an orange room and on the 3rd floor is the green room so that makes a green room and an orange room. Check and check. He and (e:Terry) painted it all day and I continued to break concrete in the bathroom.

image

And finally, this man's body in this brightly colored yellow room is perfect in my opinion. Well I think it would look better with some chest hair but overall I really wish I looked like that. I obviously don't have the dedication or the genetics for it as everytime I get closer I quit. Link to his profile on dudesnudes
