A day of painting

Painting textured walls is so much harder than I thought. It took a
lot paint. It's looks so much better now and in return we got tasty
fried shrimps.

LOL The whole thing reminded me of Tom Sawyer "painting" the fence. :)

My mom is the one who traded shrimp for paint. Its white painted over white that had yellowed during the years my father smoked in the house. He no longer does that and this white is a little brighter.
tinypliny - 06/26/09 19:41
What colour is that? Beige? Who is trading beige textured walls for fried shrimps?

The end of an office era

I saw this office furniture mass grave on the way home from lunch. It
came out of the buildings that kaleida is redoing on main near north.
I think it used to be the old devry campus.

The powder blue and green with brown enameled metal reminds me so much
of everything in elementary school. These colors are kind of making
comeback but not the desks themselves. At one point they must have
been so modern and futuristic. Strangely, I bet the people that first
sat in them thought I'd ride a flying car to work now.

I had a pink and white *lovely* desk in my grad office in Rochester. I traded in my boring brown desk with another grad student who thought that pink was too feminine for him. I miss it. I am not entirely convinced that the person who has it now appreciates how much I loved that desk. Yeah, only I and that other student knows how tough the entire trade was. We planned it for weeks and I had that desk for only size months, after all that trouble!

So not fair...

What was that maroon thing? Looks practically new whatever it is. (or maybe it was wet because of the rain).
lilho - 06/25/09 18:16
so ur a freegan too now?
hodown - 06/25/09 17:29
I was just thinking I wouldnt mind one of those blue desks.

Dumpstercopia

I am not going to take a pic of a person actually eating out of it but
seriously I must witness five people a day eating out of it. If you
think about from a personal perspective it's kind of gross but when
you think about it from an environmental perspective it's great. It
takes the one mans trash is another man's treasure to the next level.

Oh so many things I could say! Freegans are a fascinating bunch, but there is a big difference between being a political kid who refuses to pay for dinner and a starving/homeless/poor person who has no choice in the matter.
lilho - 06/24/09 19:48
freegan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i laughed out loud!!!!!!!!! really loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm going to laugh about this forever... amazing post, slightly sad, and also the best eva!
hodown - 06/24/09 13:26

doing it in the window
Category: questions
Say someone in an apartment building was full on doing it in an uncurtained window for an hour. Would you look on? I almost feel like someone that obvious about it would be dissapointed if you didn't.

trisha - 06/25/09 14:18
wow, an hour??! who has sex for an entire hour!
metalpeter - 06/24/09 18:48
Yes I would watch. If they where hot I would get my self off at least once maybe twice, hey maybe they would see me or maybe they wouldn't.
libertad - 06/24/09 14:11
Where is the live streaming video?
james - 06/24/09 14:05
Don't be so selfish. It isn't just a free show. Exhibitionists NEED people to watch so they can get off. It is your Christian duty to watch those people fuck.
hodown - 06/24/09 13:26
I agree Mike. It's basically a free show.
mike - 06/24/09 11:18
they def want you to

Swine flu and graffiti

I can't believe someone would graffiti this sign in a hospital elevator.

uncutsaniflush - 06/23/09 15:48
I'm not surprised. A person's personality doesn't change just because he or she is in a hospital.
